The room and bathroom were lovely, very clean and luxurious. The rooms don't have aircon but fans were provided and even on a warm weekend, it was actually OK. The grounds are beautifully kept with plenty of places to walk. The buffet breakfast was included in our booking and again was very tasty and had a great selection. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and welcoming and gave us some great advice on where to go. We only had breakfast in the restaurant so can't comment on dinner but it has a great reputation.
An absolutely superb hotel in an idyllic and very quiet location. We stayed in the Wall Room, which is probably one of the largest rooms we've ever stayed in, ideal when travelling with a dog. Some reviews are critical but do bear in mind this is an 18th century Grade II listed former coach house in the middle of nowhere!
The food was a tad on the expensive side, with limited choice, but you get what you pay for! What we did eat was excellent and all freshly prepared and cooked by a proper chef. Yes, there is no proper 'bar' per se, but we just took/bought our own and sat in the courtyard overlooking the wonderful grounds. Just take a cool bag with lots of ice blocks which the staff are happy to freeze for you, plus they'll provide plenty of ice!
We were blown away by the helpfulness of the staff. A big shout out to Karen, Corrine and Anya who couldn't have been more accommodating to our needs. The other staff were also great, thank you.
If you're looking for somewhere to stay more on the remote side (not really walking distance to any local towns or pubs), then I highly recommend Slebech Park. You could walk for miles around their 650 acres of land.
We will definitely be returning and a big thanks to all the staff once again for helping to make our few days away very special.
We stayed at Slebech Park for two nights as part of a trip to Skomer Island to see the puffins, and it was the perfect place to stay.
Our room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully presented, giving us plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was genuinely friendly, helpful and seemed to take real pride in making sure guests had a great stay.
We had dinner in the restaurant one evening, and it was excellent. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding—friendly, attentive and relaxed without ever feeling intrusive. Breakfast each morning was just as impressive, with a fantastic Welsh breakfast made from high-quality local produce. It was the perfect start to a day of sightseeing.
One of our favourite parts of the stay was simply wandering around the estate. The grounds are beautiful, peaceful and full of wildlife, making for some lovely walks both in the evening and first thing in the morning. It really added to the whole experience.
If you’re planning a visit to Pembrokeshire or heading out to Skomer Island, I can highly recommend Slebech Park. It’s a beautiful setting with fantastic staff, excellent food and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
