Lovely pub/hotel in the centre of the town. Helpful staff, well appointed nicely designed rooms and an excellent breakfast. Secured parking across the road for hotel guests. Excellent.

Lovely hotel even had air conditioning in the hot weather. Service by staff at bar and breakfast really polite and attentive. Good choice of breakfast and quality of food we had ( eggs royale and ricotta scrambled eggs) was fantastic.

We had a wonderful stay in this delightful hotel. We had a front room on the second floor with a first rate bathroom. We had a double sized shower and bath. The breakfast choice was huge. The Gatherers breakfast was superb. The Caernarfon sausages delicious. We hop th stay there again.

Excellent room in a good location. Breakfast was extremely good, one of the best cooked breakfasts I've had.

Staff veey friendly and helpful romm was lovely only aircon sidnt qork and it was very hot in the night, breakfast was lovely freshly made to order along with cereal and other chice would definitely return to the tilman

Looked recently refurbished, bathroom especially the shower excellent and air conditioning as well, didn't expect that. Liked the idea of a small bottle of milk and the coffee bags for your morning brew! Breakfast ok some of it not quite upto standard. Overall though very pleased and Barmouth is a lovely resort.

Room was clean and good parking the air-conditioning wasn't working in the room so they provided a portable one instead

Smart and well maintained rooms. Excellent choice and well cooked breakfast. Easy private secure parking. Polite and efficient staff. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Breakfast was excellent, room clean and tidy, only complaint was air conditioning wasn't working at full capacity l. Did speak to staff about it he apologised and said they were waiting for an engineer to eventually turn up. Bedroom was very warm as weather was hot, couldn't open window as room backed on to hotel terrace

Great place to stay. The walk up to the third floor was hard but the room was nice. Breakfast was great, though not quick.

We had a wonderful time at the Tilman. Check in was great, we were asked if we wanted a hand with our luggage despite the bar being full. The room, no 1, overlooked the road but the noise was negligible as there was secondary glazing. Bed very comfortable. Great shower and towels. Water and soft drink provided along with tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Breakfast was amazing. A great choice of cooked options and cereals, yoghurts, pastries etc. We found the ingredients of very good quality. We had one dinner, burger and chips which, again, was super tasty. Purple Moose IPA can be recommended. Parking was just around the corner in a private car park. Very helpful. Last, but by no means least, the staff were super friendly and engaging. We felt very welcome. Thank you all. We had a great time.

The room was really nice.but there was mould in the bathroom.all night long and an extracter fan was going.so didn't get much sleep. The pub itself really needed a good clean.breakfast was very greasy. Staff were really helpful except for the girl who was speaking Welsh all the time.she wasn't very helpful but the guys who worked there were great.i wouldn't return but wouldn't return to barmouth.it was dirty & rundown.dog poo everywhere.dogs everywhere you went.

Comfy, well decorated room, great bathroom and excellent breakfast. We were on the top floor and the air conditioning wasn't working, so it was a bit hot to sleep and too noisy with the windows open

Our third stay there, and there's no negatives from us. We were on third floor which gave us great view of beach and sea, but stairs could cause you a problem if you have mobility issues. Great breakfast and they're happy to juggle the menu if needed (gluten free friendly). All the staff polite, friendly and helpful. And the icing on the cake is the parking within yards. Will be back!!

Bright room with kingsize comfortable bed but mold in shower room needs to be addressed as it's really unsightly and unhealthy and it has been mentioned in other reviews. Breakfast was good but there was quite a long wait.

Nice comfy room with a sea view, comfortable bed, super friendly staff, a nice pub and good breakfast in a great location. Also parking was free :) there were just minor things to improve - the door handle in the bathroom was loose as well as the temperature setting in the shower. Also internet was unstable so if you wanna stream something, its almost impossible. We had room 12 on the third floor, which we didnt mind, but consider if youre older or require accessibility :-)

Excellent facilities, great experience, relaxing atmosphere

On the whole a very good stay. Tillman pub is nice and not too noisy and they served a great breakfast. Staff were really friendly. Bedroom was roomy and well equipped with nice decor. Good sized en suite with walk in shower and large fluffy white towels. The reason I've not given an excellent rating is that there was mould on the walls in the en suite in a number of places. Such a shame as the rest of the hotel was in great condition. Wouldn't put me off going again as everything else was very good.

Great location in Barmouth and useful to have a free car park within easy walking distance. Our room appeared to be recently decorated to a high standard with some nice touches like good quality coffee and water supplied. Just to beware that our room was on the top floor and required us to walk up a few flights of stairs although we were offered help with luggage. The main negative for us was the breakfast. Although beautifully served, the quality of some of the items let the main breakfast down. Overall was an enjoyable stay.

Det här hotellet var det bästa vi bodde på under resan (både Manchester och Wales) bekvämt, rymligt och närhet. Hade inte så mycket att göra med personalen. Fantastisk hotell med en fantastisk utsikt i trapporna upp till rummen.
