The room was clean, comfortable, and very nice. However, there was no body soap provided, although that wasn't a major issue.
My biggest disappointment was with the breakfast service. We arrived at 9:00 a.m. for breakfast, and we were told that the table we were seated at was reserved and that we could use it only until 10:00 a.m. Despite arriving on time, our food wasn't served until 10:00 a.m.
We had barely been eating for about 10 minutes when the staff repeatedly came to our table asking us to finish quickly because it was reserved. If they knew the table was reserved, they should have served our food much earlier. We paid for breakfast just like every other guest, so we expected to be able to enjoy our meal without being rushed.
I am a frequent customer of Saskatoon Inn, which made this experience even more disappointing. When I brought the issue to the front desk, the staff member, Harsh, simply said he would inform his supervisor. There was, no attempt to resolve the situation, or any effort to make things right.
Because we were rushed, we had to leave half of our breakfast unfinished and walk out. Other hotels I've stayed at have handled situations like this with genuine care and have resolved issues immediately. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
Overall, I was very disappointed with the service, and I hope management takes this feedback seriously so future guests do not have the same experience.
