Excellent breakfast

Second time here - love the location, helpful staff and condition of the property with nice rooms. Biggest disappointment this time was the breakfast for which we paid extra - served in sterile ballroom with meager selections. Went next door to Apotek Hotel for much better breakfast at same price! Also had dinner there night prior and really liked it!

The hotel is quite old and it certainly feels and looks it. There is no bellman service to bring bags up or down from the room. When requesting laundry service we were advised to take out bags down. Our room was right in front of the square and was quite noisy every night and early morning. The breakfast selection seems lacking specially in terms of fresh fruit selection. Housekeeping did not clean the rooms thorouhhly specially the bathrooms. For the price there have to be better options in Reykjavik. Pretty disappointing stay. Not worth the money charged for a suite room. I would not stay here again.

Staff súper friendly, very well located. Breakfast so Good in beautiful place. You Can walk in Reykjavik . I recommend staying here.

Would stay there again. Good location and we had a very nice room facing a park.

Ideal location down town across from park and short walk to shopping and reassurances. They offer airport transportation (pay)

Really central location with easy walk to most places of interest as well as the harbor from where we boarded the ship

A nice hotel, but beginning to look a bit tired. The restaurant was closed, which was disappointing as we have enjoyed it in previous years.

Room was nice - desk, Nespresso, tea, refrigerator, great shower, great bed and bedding. Nice casual bar. Good seating areas. Great location! In the courtyard right across the street there is a FABULOUS free city walk at 10 am weekdays and 10:40 am Saturday. Sign up online. Parking was easy! On the streets nearby and city hall underground lot. Close to great restaurants snd the amazing food hall. We got coffee and sweet roll at bakery just a block away. Delicious! Great choice. Highly recommend! Book Messina restaurant early - best fish in the city!

Filter coffee included in breakfast tastes almost like nothing & they charge extra for a regular coffee. They gave me a super tiny room, where you can almost not access the sink in the bathroom unless you close the door. Smell of old sweat in my room and food left in the fridge from guest before. Not possible to borrow an umbrella. Concierge at check-out was very helpful and frienly (9 july), the rest wasn't friendly.

Excellent location close to main areas for restaurants, cafes and excursions. Super clean and very stylish throughout.
