The hotel is expensive for drink and food , food basic at night, first night they stopped orders for food whilst kitchen caught up , 2nd night fancied a pizza , told no pizzas. Pint of Lager £7.70 . But the best part £21.50 for breakfast where they get the 50 pence from . Absolute ridiculous price . The hotel rooms are fine for the price but won’t be when it’s summer time and prices go up . Only recommend if your loaded and not if normal working person .

Had to move rooms twice. Firstly room was not completely tidy as we found an item of clothing from a previous guest there. Then we were moved to a room where the toilet was constantly flushing and was broken. Finally, we were upgraded to a smaller room with a great view on the top floor. Staff were very helpful and werr quick to remedy the issues but maintenance issues and cleaning let the hotel down. Tops of cupboards etc were also quite dusty. Great car park, view and short walk into rest of Clifton.

The hotel and location is excellent, what was not great was unfortunately checked in late just before 9pm ( due to travelling )on a Sunday night, was told restaurant/kitchen closes at 9pm so no food or room service as that didn’t start until 11pm (way too late for something to eat) I was told by receptionist if I was quick 8.55pm to see if they would keep Kitchen open for a quick supper, I did ask this question and there was no way they were keeping kitchen open!! I was then told that I could order food in from a delivery service but that’s not very practical as I’m a coeliac and have to be extra careful with food. I ended up going out for dinner after finding a restaurant in an area I didn’t know. For a well known hotel chain I would expect more.

Lovely 2 night stay. Super Comfy bed which is a plus for those with a bad back or hip..slept so well. Spacious room even though we booked the smallest category. Wonderful rain shower. L'Occitane branded hand wash, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Quiet air con so was able to keep on all night without it being noisy. Window opens ever so slightly so lovely breeze comes in. We were there when the weather was +30 degrees celcuis. Great views of the Gorge and Clifton Bridge from the bar /pub terrace! Staff friendly and will helpful to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Lovely ambience in the hotel. Quiet at night. Didn't hear any noise in the morning, not even from the house maids. They have certain number of parking permits for those with a car or there's paid parking £12 at the back of the hotel. Free parking after 9pm ON Saturday on Monday 9am. Clifton is a lovely area to stay away from the city noise yet so close to get into the city. Several buses serve the city or a short taxi ride. Highly recommend.

Breakfast was fantastic, parking on site was limited but they have permitted available for parking road side which made this very easy. Views of Clifton bridge at breakfast were stunning

The room was nice enough - standard layout and decor as you’d expect for a hotel du vin. Bathroom nice. Corridors looked a little tired but not too bad. Bar and lounge area were ok but nothing special. Terrace is fantastic- or at least the situation is. Served our purpose very well as a place to stay to go to a party nearby. Reception staff very helpful.

Excellent location for Clifton high street, right next to the suspension bridge with stunning views. Ask for a room with the reiver view. Dog-friendly and they provide a dog bed, a water bowl and a doggy bag with little treats, a ball and some poo bags for your furry friend. Our dog enjoyed the stay very much!

The hotel itself was in a nice location and nice interiors. The staff suggested to pay for on street parking and no offer was made for permit or to park in the hotel parking. We included to have dinner in the restaurant, which is where my disappointment started. They didn’t have two choices of wine we chose and then the wine we did have didn’t arrive to the table until after the starters had arrived. Main course food came at different times and had to ask for cutlery. Got asked if we would like to see dessert menu and after waiting 15min had to get up and ask for the menus. I wouldn’t mind so much but it was even busy. As it was our wedding anniversary I wanted to stay somewhere that gave us a good memory but unfortunately the memory is only disappointment.

Delightful hotel in a gorgeous location. Bathroom, particularly lovely, Definitely would stay again They allow dogs, however, they do charge £25 a night which I think is rather a lot even though they provided basket & dog bowls.

The breakfast and bar location is brilliant for seeing the Clifton bridge. Staff good and close to the shops and bars of Clifton .
