Ivey hotel is very comfy! The hotel itself looks classics, a bit vintage but cozy! It’s clean, cozy, friendly, close to anywhere, good coffee😍👍! Staffs are professional and friendly and very helpful👍.

Great for individuals who need to be close to the Western University. very clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Restaurant on site is good. I like the rooms and the bathroom are clean. 11/10

Great place but no clothes dresser in the room

We were attending a wedding. Property was beautiful. Staff friendly. Rooms were clean and updated. Wonderful time.

Overall it was a good experience. The only really bad thing was the self wash laundry facilities where horrendous. 2 of the 4 machines where "out of order". Washer machine parts left on the counter. The room itself was filthy, floor looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks.

The Spencer was a lovely spot. The room was well-appointed and clean. The grounds are beautiful. The hotel restaurant was another story. It took far longer than made sense to order and then receive our cocktails. Food was desperately over-sauced, and my glass of red wine was warm. The staff were lively and friendly, but more attention seemed to being paid to the photo shoot underway than to the actual hosting of guests. So…perhaps priorities are a little skewed?

Beautiful grounds

We stayed 1 night at this location. We had two rooms. We had to request to be moved from our first room as there was water dripping from the AC vent outside the bathroom door. The room smelled strongly of mold/mildew. It seemed the hotel was aware of this as there was a portable air purifier in the corner of the room. Upon request, the staff were accommodating and moved us to a second room. This room was still damp and there was an earwig in the bathroom. The second room was ok (slight damp smell) but our family member in that room found 3 earwigs in the bathroom. Overall, the bedding was clean and the room was tidy. However, the dampness, smell and earwigs were not enjoyable.

Very clean, kind staff and nice hotel, compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in London this one is top, little walk from check in to hotel room but thats part of the character of the property. I really enjoyed my stay and would go back!

Beautiful property with many walking paths. Room was clean and staff was very friendly. I think that buffet breakfast should be included in the price of booking hotel. They give a 20% discount voucher for food if you eat at their restaurant during your stay.

Staff was very friendly & helpful. Very clean room as well as rest of hotel & restaurant. Enjoyed supper, very nice staff there as well. Would definitely stay there again & recommend it to others.

The room was clean Even though the bulb of the room was burnt out but the staff gave us another room right away We had a pet and the staff were very friendly and welcoming

Beautiful property with lovely history. One thing to be mindful of with a historic building is the layout, stairs, and walking involved to get to rooms. Our room was very clean and the temperature was just right. The grounds are beautiful with plenty of outdoor space to walk around and explore. It is a bit of a hike to get to rooms on floors 4-6. If you can’t do stairs, request a room on floors 1-3. Overall a lovely place to visit.
