相對較遠少少，附近沒甚麼超市或便利店。夜了獨回會有少少靜，沿路一帶是學校，也沒太多人經過。但2邊方向回去的沿路也會有巴士車輛偶爾經過，自己小心留意一下路面情況還好的

Kind and attentive reception staff. Waitress at restaurant is a kind hardworking lady.

The property was in a nice location. The staff is friendly. Being as pricey as it is, you’d think there would at least be a hair dryer in the room, but there wasn’t. The beds were comfy.

Extremely limited parking, with nearest parking facility a 3 minute drive away. Did love that it has multiple outlets and a nice coffee/tea service available.

Amazing breakfast, spacious bedrooms, superb location! And friendly staff.

Zimmer gross und sauber. Lage gut, mann war schnell am Grassmarket. Einziger Minuspunkt, im Zimmer war es sehr kalt.

Carpets are old and soiled. No air-conditioning at all. They provide small table fans. One of the rooms as we checked in had hair on pillows ( gross ).

Clean room in an interesting old building. Walkable and close to a lot of sites.

Staff was helpful and friendly and the room was wonderfully clean and roomy. Location was wonderful, close to so much and yet just a slight off the busy (noisy) pathways. We felt secure and comfortable. :-) Would definitely stay here again.

Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Hotellet är beläget nära Old town. Frukosten är helt ok finns allt du behöver. Rekommenderas

The room cleaning was deficient.

Fantastic staff and our room was very clean. Breakfast was very good and the kitchen staff were so so nice.

Everything was quite nice, and one thing was exceptional: my partner left a necklace behind, called the reception desk from York, England, and spoke to Zoe, who not only had the necklace, but mailed it to my partner’s home address in the US. Thank you!

Our stay in Edinburgh was fantastic. The room was spacious and had great amenities. The hotel staff were wonderful. The hotel was in a very walkable location. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this beautiful city.

Staff working on reception are very friend and helpful. Staff who cleaned the room did not clean thoroughly and hope to improve it in the future.

It could be better

The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. We did experience a couple of issues with our room not being serviced on two occasions, but once we notified the staff, they took care of it promptly. It may have been due to extending our stay on those days, which possibly caused some confusion about our checkout status. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The location was excellent—within walking distance of Edinburgh Castle, the market, and the Royal Mile shopping area. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
