We enjoyed our stay at Grand Hotel Brighton. The service was impeccable. It elevated the whole experience at the hotel despite some hits and misses. Every staff was professional and friendly (even their uniform was tastefully designed). The lobby and lounge were beautiful, giving us a really good impression of the hotel. However, while we were aware of the history of the hotel, the bathroom was a bit tricky to use. It was obviously dated and needed some refurbishment work. The water pressure was very strong, but the leaking was inevitable too. This resulted in a very humid room with weak ventilation. And the toilet was kind of hard to flush. The room itself was reasonable. It was definitely comfortable. We were also surprised by the movie entertainment offered. Breakfast was very nice too. We often got a window table with a sea view.

Top class Hotel

Lovely staff, nicely renovated room in iconic building, great Penhaligons amenities in the room. We were disappointed howerever with the quality of the breakfast: the cured meats were of poor quality, same as the cheese. We stayed on the 1st floor on a Saturday night, and we could hear music from the restaurant below until 11pm, if not midnight. Lastly, th bar at the area is always busy (no spaces reserved for guests) and we couldn't get a table to have some light lunch after checking out.

We knew that we had booked a room without a view. We were delighted with the room, which had been recently re-done. It was spacious and spotlessly clean.The rest of the hotel had undergone a refurb too and looked wonderful. The main thing to commend was the staff, who were delightful, friendly and helpful. This was especially so with the breakfast staff, who were a credit to you.

My room was lovely. Spacious and clean. A modern take on the Regency style. It had a partial sea view too which was a bonus.
