Muy limpio y muy buen servicio.

I spent a weekend at the Altamira, Ibagué for a wedding. The location is good if you have a car, but it’s a little off the beaten path if you don’t. However, for this same reason, it’s quiet. I was there during the World Cup and they had huge screens at the restaurant and next to the swimming pool. That was a cool add on. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and the bathroom is OK. All the furniture is a little dated and in need of a makeover. The breakfast buffet was plentiful for Colombian standards and the à la carte menu was surprisingly good. I had a sushi roll one night and it was excellent. I would definitely stay at the Altamira on a future visit to Ibagué. On a side note, Ibagué impressed me. It’s not exactly beautiful, like most intermediate cities in Colombia, but it has lovely surroundings, mountains on the eastern side, plains on the wester one, the roads are impeccable and the weather is near perfect. Food is OK. The typical staples are lechona (roasted pork) and tamales, none my cup of tea.

Love this hotel. Beautiful and clean and feels like luxury every where you go. Well worth the orice and will be back again as well as using any of their other locations

El hotel siempre ha sido mi favorito en mis viajes a Ibagué, pues es muy agradable y la atención del personal es maravillosa, pero en esta oportunidad si pude apreciar que las instalaciones necesitan mantenimiento, especialmente el área de la piscina y alrededores, algunas zonas muy descuidadas y el mobiliario en malas condiciones.

Habitaciones cómodas, buenos restaurantes, buen espacio para los perros. Lo único que no me gusta es el ruido de los aires acondicionados en las habitaciones. No se logra dormir cómodamente. Considero deberían actualizarlos.

Muy bueno para ir de negocios e ir en plan familiar. Excelente

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough - for several reasons. The biggest is the staff -they are incredibly helpful and friendly. Then, there is the food - wow - fresh and delicious and great choices - and you can "mix and match" from the restaurants as you sit on the patio enjoying great weather. The pool is beautiful and relaxing, too. Just a fantastic escape!

It’s a beautiful hotel. The facade of the Hotel needs a fresh paint. The hotel is a little bit dated. Needs an updated particularly the bathrooms. The staff was very welcoming and very relaxed. I like the fact they have fresh cold water, tea and coffee at the reception. The rooms were spacious and clean. The swimming pool was huge but they could keep it a little more clean same the jacuzzi, you can see the grease in the water. Very relaxing with beautiful vegetation and nature trees, we even spotted 2 eagles very gorgeous. The breakfast area was clean and I was expecting buffet style which you serve yourself, the person serving was very limited I have to keep asking for more… a little inconvenient sounds like I was begging for food. Exiting the hotel can be very challenging if you don’t have a car. Ordering a taxi can take forever so if you don’t want to wait you have walk some to catch a taxi on the main road which is busy area as well and that’s another wait. In general the experience was good and we definitely book again in the future.

El estado de las habitaciones es muy triste. Desactualizada, televisor en mal estado, mobiliario dañado, algunos tomacorrientes dañados, llave de la ducha dañada y ruidosa. La piscina nunca fue climatizada, los jacuzzi en permanente arreglo y cerrados. Aparente hotel prime, pero tristemente venido a menos. Y lo peor, el minibar con elementos viejos, pero con costos elevados. Creo que no volveré.
