East parking, lovely helpful staff and great location to walk to town.

Disappointed that for what you pay and area that it’s in you don’t even get coffee in the room. Very poor

the only real issue we had with the room was they had no place you put your fold clothes the room had only 5 hangers but no cabinet space . But the hotel is in a great location

We had an executive room which was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the beverages and bathroom products of good standard. As the windows are single glazed there was some noise from traffic and local venues but the authorities obviously enforce noise restriction rules so this was not an issue during sleeping hours. Parking is secure with plenty of spaces available when we were there over easter. The 2 EV charging points are a useful feature. Breakfast is a continental buffet with a good range for a hotel of this size and a la carte hot options which were of a good standard. The staff were clearly well trained, pleasant and helpful. One day we reported that the room maid hadn't replenished the coffee pods and milk in the room and the young chap from reception brought supplies up to the room immediately.

Good location, electric charger in car park is not theirs and did not work.

Stayed at the Qeens previously. The room we had was good. Nice and clean but a noisy bar on opposite side of road so not great Thought breakfast was expensive at £20pp

Great room , very clean, lovely staff. The only major let down was the breakfast The hot breakfast (which was not ) over pod dried up black pudding and sausage, the baca. Look like it had been left out o er hot lights for 3 hours . Was luke warm , should have gone to a local cafe ! Very disappointed

Lovely old building and a really comfortable bed!

Very enjoyable, quiet and very friendly staff all around.

While the room was comfortable, it was very warm and the air conditioning was not very effective and we could not really open the windows. Breakfast was good but some members of staff might have smiled more. We liked the bar but sometimes it was difficult to get served without going to reception to ask to be served. The more negative comments are very specific and, overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Queen’s Hotel.

Great reception staff, helpful and professional. Hotel is interesting and characterful. Comfortable well decorated room with decent linen. Decent breakfast but porridge was a bit watery A few downsides…… A lot of noise from the bar opposite until 11.30 and there is only single glazing because of its age. Heating from the A.C. panel was slow in heating the room, however the central heating kicked in during the night and the pipes were noisy with the constant sound of running water in the room. Shower in the morning was no more than a tepid trickle even when set to fully hot. Grubby curtains and no nets in the room although other rooms had them. Wouldn’t stay again as there are plenty of options in this price range. Parking expensive at £17 for residents.

The location is great and it has a good car park that costs £17 per day. It is close to the bus stop on the Promenade and makes it easy to visit Gloucester, Cirencester and other places. We enjoyed the breakfasts but Sunday lunch was disappointing. The staff were good.

Hotel was excellent. Staff were friendly, rooms were amazing, great location. Two minor issues - breakfast was lovely but didn’t quite get what we asked for (we must have confused them when asking for something slightly different to the menu). The other was the loud music until about 11.30 at night - the price you pay on a Saturday night in an old hotel with original windows! None of these were enough to reduce down from 5*! Definitely recommended

Beautiful hotel, super nice staff, very comfortable beds, and great for walkability in town. Loved staying here!
