Clean hotel

I am very mad there was no FREE wifi whereas my booking show free WiFi. The reception say Public area is free but I cannot get any data. I then signed up as Marriott member just to get free WiFi in my room but again, I logged in but no data. This is not and should not be the standard of any decent hotel let alone the Marriott! Very disappointed. I have an extra day in Lisbon and I have chosen to switch hotel for real WiFi. Sad! I am trying Carlton Marriott in Madrid tonight (2019.02.04), hope there is real wifi connection!

It’s the little things that matter sometimes. The concierge was so nice to help get a wheelchair for my mother to help get her around. The bartenders always greeted us with a smile and little snacks to enjoy while having a drink. One server my mom thought was so great she offered if he ever came to the states to come visit and stay in her guest room whenever he wanted lol. The bellhop always got the door when we entered or exited. These things and many others made our stay one to remember for a lifetime. Even the manager asked how everything was as we checked out thanking us for staying. Thank you all so much!!

Yes, room was modern and newly renovated. Check in didn't take long and they put me in the executive lounge while waiting for the room to be ready.

Clean rooms, friendly staff.

It was fine. I didn’t have WiFi all week. Didn’t get it fixed till the evening before check out. I had to do a lot of work stuff so had to hotspot. No partial refund or anything whatsoever. Really frustrating.
