Staff on property are great - very kind, helpful and will go out of their way to help you out best they can. My room, a suite, was a bit Worn Out in general. The couch was a bit stained and very worn looking, the ottoman was collapsed on one side, a bit unsightly. The bathroom was pretty large and nice, however, the shower handle came off and it was very hard to get the temperature to the right hot or cold - I mean very challenging. The room was a bit dusty - the air vents needed new filters for sure. and lastly the best thing was the Air Con worked great - it was hot while I was there, and once the air con was turned on for the trip, it worked excellently.

The room was good a couple of niggly issues that we did mention to reception. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.The breakfast was really good ,the continental was varied ,fresh and tasty.The cooked breakfast i had was good.

The hotel is looking dated and tired. The bar and public area are nice enough but the rooms really need updating. My room had hardly any water pressure. It was difficult to brush my teeth let alone take a shower.

The room was lovely and had all the amenities necessary. The room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable ☺️

Breakfast was good

Great location and lovely standard rooms if stopping by for just one night. Tends to attract the “nightlife” crowd so is busy and noisy late at night and there can be people roaming the corridors so keep the door locked. The reception staff can be a bit preoccupied at busy times so make sure to check in at off peak times. Overall an ok experience with lots to like but if looking for a more upmarket experience would suggest the Hotel du Vin

Really good check in experience and the good service from the team continued through the stay. Excellent breakfast and really good air conditioning as it was the hottest day of the year.

Fantastic spacious comfortable room which was very clean. The maintenance in the bathroom was a little poor, it was clean but felt tired. Great location with easy parking in the Q park next to hotel.

Lovely room, comfy beds, spa was amazing

Went for a club room which was big but didn’t have much personality, and didn’t feel luxury, though nothing wrong with it. Excellent amount of plugs by the bed and elsewhere in the room. The bathroom felt a little un luxury too, although had decent size bath, shower and toilet sink combination. Staff were perfectly pleasant but didn’t ask about my stay as i checked out. Was good location and convenient for station. Overall would stay again but manage expectation about club room.

Great hotel , central location especially with the car park being so close . The restaurant was pricey for the portions but the service was excellent. Also I think for the spa use the times need to be changed to earlier Acess as we were unable to use them as check-in times 3pm ,abs checkout time was 11am but access to spa was 10am .

Excellent hotel with great service and standards.

The location is great, 5 mins from the station and right next tothe bars and restaurants of the mailbox. Good amenities - coffee in the room, toiletries etc. Onsite gym is well equipped and the small bar is lovely.

The hotel itself was nice, and the rooms were comfortable. However, when we arrived around 5 PM, we were told that the spa was already closed and would only reopen at 10 AM the next day. We also found it very odd that, despite staying at the hotel, guests still had to pay £15 for just 2 hours of spa access. Overall, while the hotel looked good, the extra charges and limited spa availability made the experience disappointing. In my opinion, it was not worth the money we paid to stay there.

Lovely experience from the time I arrived until I departed.

The hotel is well situation and has very helpful staff. Reception staff give all information and are efficient but there was a long wait to check in as i arrived when others were asking a lot of questions and only 2 people serving. I have a mobility aide so this made it more challenging. Room was comfortable and of a good size with a good TV. Shame the plug sockets are not next to the bed as i find this frustrating when charging my phone at night. Another issue was the bath/shower combo. I think it's a shame modern hotels still do this as i find it hard to step into the bath and have never known anyone to take a bath rather than a shower during a hotel stay, unless travelling with children. The reception staff were OK - they gave all information and went through the motions but the breakfast staff were exceptional. Couldn't do enough for me and constantly offered to help. The breakfast itself was massively overcooked and had been under a lamp too long meaning that it was cold when it arrived and burnt. I sent one back and the second one was better. Same thing happened the next day and my friend had similar issues with her breakfast. The toaster wasn't working so we asked for undercooked toast and it came out burnt, along with burnt bacon and overcooked eggs. Still to end on a good note, the restaurant staff were amazing and very helpful and the hotel was located well with good room sizes and comfortable beds.
