We loved our stay here. Stayed 4 nights with two children ages 5 and 6. Staff were amazing. Breakfast buffet was good. The only issue we had was that the pool is kept very very very cold. My kids lips were blue after a few minutes, and other guests came in with kids or alone and couldnt get in past their hips due to the freezing temperature, which is a shame because we specifically booked for the pool. Other than that, the stay was great!

We stayed for 1 night, 4 guests in a double room. The room was large and spacious with a beautiful boardwalk/ocean view! The staff were very kind, welcoming and helpful. The hotel was beautifully maintained from the outside, stunning plants and grass was well kept! The interior was pretty clean but a the decor was a bit outdated!

This property is definitely not as advertised. Run down and needs updating. Food is terrible. Not worth the money at all! Only good thing is the location.

The hotel was dated but very clean, had a nice view of the water. Good area, food options nearby. Staff serving breakfast were very nice.

The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was good. The breakfast and staff were very good. The only downside was cooking smells in the hallway, but not in our room.

Nice suite although it’s beginning to show some wear and tear. The hotel was planning a power shutdown the next evening to do some maintenance. Our room had a movable A/C in the bedroom which worked well. The living room area A/C was not working so it was a bit warm. Would recommend staying there as they are working on their maintenance issues.

Room was dated, small but clean. One desk chair only for seating. Checked in on Monday and restaurant was only operational Thursday to Sunday 4 to 8. Website is misleading.

The Loyalist Country Inn and Suites is located in a lovely area of Summerside. We were allowed to check-in a bit early, which was very nice. Our room was in the west wing of the hotel, which made it a bit of a trek ( different elevator, separate corridors,etc.) to get to the breakfast area and other amenities like the front desk and ice machine, but our room was super clean and spacious. The only real issue we had was the lack of hot water on our first morning there . The front desk said there was a boiler issue that would get fixed that day. On our second morning, there was some hot water, but it seemed like they were still having problems with it. It would have been ice to have been informed of this. Otherwise, I would say this is a good hotel for the price. I would definitely recommend it for anyone heading to PEI

The whole area looked as if it needed painting. The hotel restaurant is open only from Thursday to Saturday. Our room on the 3rd floor looked grubby. It took five minutes to get hot water in the shower. It was difficult to turn on the bath tap so I suspect that this room had not been used lately.

Clean room, decent breakfast, old building but nice staff!

We stayed at the inn for one night. It is centrally located, closr to many restaurants, and very easy to get to. We really enjoyed being close to the waterfront. The room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was fine, but not exceptional.

Quick and easy check in, staff was great very friendly. Room went above and beyond, along with being clean the our room was big but really cozy, well furnished. Jacuzzi bathtub was a huge bonus we didn't notice on booking but was blown away! Amenities were great, good exercise room and very clean pool, no signs of mold that some older hotels can have. Nice and cold on the hot days and surprising deep! Possibly the best hotel we've stayed at in the Maritimes

Very large room but it was rather bare and empty looking. Pleasant view towards dock and Spinnakers. Breakfast was ok but rather repetitive, bread pudding pleasant but unusual, would have enjoyed the option of ham or bacon. No big problems at all

Overall this hotel was a okay stay. The only way I would return is if there was an event that was close to this hotel, otherwise I would try another or ask for a fully updated room (if there are any). The breakfast buffet was great and the staff hired for that were excellent. I had an issue with parking since there was an event happening one day and the front desk receptionist was not friendly and snapped at me when I calmly tried to explain the situation. While the room was clean, there were patches on the wall like they are in the middle of fixing a hole and stopped before painting. The curtains are old and the furniture needs to be updated. The beds were clean and comfortable. I put the sign out for maid service - for clean towels, sheets, and toilet paper - and no service was done from 8am when we left until 5pm when we returned so I had to go get toilet paper and towels from the front desk myself. The location is great, right on the water and near many places for food and entertainment.
