Rooms were mouldy, some floors reeked of cigarette smoke, the roof and stairwells leaked, and buckets were placed around the hotel to catch the water. Air quality is so poor that it cannot be healthy.

Hotel was very hot in rooms. No fans available - asked front desk several times. Windows can’t open to get airflow. Rooms are very dated. No bar or restaurant in hotel.

Room was ok but had a worn look to it. What bar? The bar & restaurant were closed Saturday at 5 pm ! To top it off I was charged $20.00 more than Expedia had confirmed with me a week before. All minor irrigations but I will not be back!

Check-in was good. Front staff were rude. Had to plunge my own toilet and cleaning rooms only done once every 3 days. Went swimming and got yelled at by front staff for having floating devices and toys in the pool that were already in the pool when we entered. Room was hot. No towels day two as we were told towels are brought in and not laundered on site. Overall terrible experience would not consider staying again.

We arrived late and left early. But that staircase is gorgeous! The room was comfortable and quiet. I will for sure go back.

No coffee in the lobby

Our room was very spacious. Curtains could not close completely because hooks were missing, spacious bathroom but very small shower with no shelf for shampoo or soap. Our room was uncomfortably cool and there was no way to turn up the heat.

Very helpful and friendly staff which made the stay just great and welcoming with the bonus of being family friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again and would also highly recommend it to others.

Parking was fine. No bar and no restaurant

The Staff was friendly and courteous. The rooms were slightly outdated and the double bed that I had could have been a bit more comfortable. The location was close to numerous amenities. The property was well maintained and clean . I would recommend this place if I was staying in the Hamilton Niagara area.

We had a wonderful stay. My co worker got sick and the staff were so helpful. The place is older but oh, so elegant. My coworker is a bit picky where she stays and she will definitely go back. That says a lot

Great location, beautiful architecture but there was no dining options, the desk staff wear many hats so often there was a “be right back” sign out and some of them did not appear to enjoy working their shift. Strong chlorine smell in the lobby, no dining options, the shower curtain fell down when I hung a wet towel on it (I’m old so I knew how to fix it), housekeeping every third day but if you appreciate character hotels those issues are worth the experience.
