Air conditioning didn’t work well. We asked for it to be looked at and they said they would send someone. Not sure if they did or not. Finally after buying a fan and dealing with it for 3 nights we asked them to move rooms. They had nothing available until we asked for a refund for our final night. That made them find a room and the air conditioning was wonderful. Location was excellent and if we had been listened to at the beginning it could have been an overall great experience.

The staff was beyond kind and gentle, no complains about anything but the Restaurant service. My wife, kid and I went to have just a quick meal Friday night at 9:00 PM, as we knew the Restaurant close at 10:00. The waitress came in a bad mood, saying : we are almost close guys, so we have no many options. We tried to rush but this lady pressure was annoying. I have to tell her...Give us a few minutes please if you don't mind. I asked for a Burger (it wasn't well cooked), my child asked for Mac & Cheese and it was cold. We never came back to the restaurant again. A nice Hotel with so many nice staff, doesn't deserve to has that kind of Restaurant service, hopefully a manager or supervisor could give the proper training to that lady.

Great location. Clean comfortable rooms. All the staff from the front desk to the bar were all very friendly. We’ve stayed twice and will likely return next summer.

Hotel was convenient to all attractions in Halifax. Well run hotel with clean rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. Would stay here again

The staff were very friendly. The room was very clean. The breakfast was delicious. The servers were very pleasant. I didn’t use parking. I really love the setting of the foyer. Overall, the environment was very pleasant and friendly.

Located in a great area with plenty of options for things to do, and places to eat. Hailey at the reception desk was very helpful!!
