The staff were very nice and it was nice of the hotel to upgrade our room for our honeymoon. However, this hotel is run down. It doesn’t look like there has been much up keep of the property, it certainly does not reflect the pictures online. The breakfast buffet was very basic. There was little to no service around the pool. In the room that we stayed it the toilet always smelled very bad. I think something to do with the pipes.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful! The rooms were lovely and always clean. The pools are kept beautifully with amazing views and sitting areas at both pool areas. Would definitely return to this place in a heart beat. Felt like luxury without too large prices. Had a nice little area within walking distance around it with food/massage/market places without feeling too busy or loud

First class resort where we spent 8 glorious nights in boat level suite #15. 5 of the 6 of these were similarly designed with a separate sitting room and outside stairs leading to a large deck. Inside are 2 TVs. No 13 is different, with no living room but a larger bathroom, 1 TV, and brighter upstairs bedroom (but 1 bedside table) leading to a smaller deck. Gorgeous grounds, beautifully designed, lovely main pool and other swimming and relaxing areas and hideaways. Boat level suites are pricey, but had easy access to the Level where breakfast is served and exotic drinks from 5:30 to 7:30 along with hors d’oeuvres. Many guests used this for “free” dinner – as did we on many nights. Suite was very spacious if not a bit dark – white walls, the plentiful lights, and small windows reminiscent of a boat helped to brighten the space. High-quality towels and bedding, comfortable bed, large bedside tables and double sinks in the bathroom. Quiet.The shower is the best I have experienced anywhere in the world. AC was quiet and worked quickly. Bedroom lights, however, did not function well; we could not turn on bedside table lights without all overhead lights going on – defeating the purpose of bedside lights! Hardworking staff were fantastic, but especially those at the Level who served us so cheerfully and well. Thank you Maya, Bell, Kim, Tamarind, Sachi, Pink, Pin and BIG love to Queen, Zena, and Keng who were delightful fun. And our fav golf cart driver, Krod. Recommended!

Great breakfast selection, well thought out pools and right on the beach giving more options to explore

Nice and friendly staff that also paid attention and celebrated my husbands 50th birthday. Clean room and breakfast that had everything. Super suport at check in and check out.

Nice hotel with lovely grounds and pool, room was smart with great balcony. Straight onto beach and a few restaurants in immediate area others reachable by taxi. Lot of young families staying at property.

Staff excellent and very service-oriented. Beautiful property. Many places on the property to chill. Best breakfast Buffett we’ve had our during our month-long vacation in Thailand.

I want to take a moment to thank the staff first. From beginning to the end of our stay we had phenomenal conversations, service and support from the staff. They got to know my husband and I in a personal level and at one point knew us by name! They wouldn’t just check to see how our stay was going but check on us personally. I’m 1000% recommending friends and family to stay here. The people are amazing. The hotel itself was beautiful, room was cleaned quickly, breaking at Koko kitchen was always amazing. Lunch/Dinner at the beach

Service and The Level benefits are top notch (especially happy hour). Sea was lovely and warm and very accessible. Our boat suite with pool access was nice.

Fai and Paul were excellent. Fai help organize our wedding which was held on beach. The gazebo was incredibly decorated with flowers and lights. We had dinner on the beach under the stars in gazebo. It was so beautiful. Paul helped us coordinate transportation for a 7 hour island adventure exploring the island. Kord was super helpful and attentive to help us manage our bags during our stay. Many others were so helpful. We loved the resort and will be back.

Lazy River, Hauptwasserattraktion des Hotels, war tagelang stark verschmutzt, veralgt (?), schon vor unserer Ankunft. Vom Management gab es weder eine Erklärung dazu noch Kompensation für die ausfallende Möglichkeit zu schwimmen. Und das im Sommerurlaub. Laute Filteranlagen wurden irgendwann aufgestellt, zusammen mit hochgiftigen Chemikalien in geöffneten Säcken, die frei zugänglich herumstanden, obwohl viele Kinder auf der Anlage waren. Auch nach Tagen keine Besserung. Beim Check-out gab es nur ein lächelndes Schulterzucken dazu. Frühstück war jeden Tag gleich, Qualität ok, den Sternen nicht gerecht. Vermutlich mein letztes Mal im Melia.
