Clean rooms, great views, awesome beach, good pool, food ok

Our stay at Barceló Huatulco was amazing and well exceeded any of our expectations. We had a beautiful room with a beautiful view. All of the staff are very professional, friendly, and keen to help. The food is absolutely delicious at Barceló Huatulco, all of the locally sourced items coupled with excellent preparation is a delight to the palate.

Weather and cleanliness

Room was clean, location is incredible — right on beautiful Tangolunda Bay. Food wasn't exceptional, but can't complain for a resort. They have to cater to a diverse clientele and always made an effort at every meal to do something special. Mexican night was particularly notable. Nice to be able to have breakfast and lunch at La Tortuga, an open-air restaurant with views of the ocean and a consistently pleasant sea breeze.

Beautiful beach. Water was crystal clear great snorkeling.

Great experience. Food was great, the entire place was clean and the staff was the highlight - super polite and attentive. My wife and I travelled with our 2 year old for 10 days. The Barcy club, play structure, kids pool, tennis, basketball, soccer court and mini golf was great and gave us a variety of things to do. I think premium was worth it. The room was ocean view, the mini bar stocked daily and included room service. You also get access to the premium lounge which makes for a great spot to cool off and grab a snack/drinks. You also get unlimited reservations to the restaurants. For premium alcohol they got Patron, grey goose, higher end booze, it was worth it. Was quick getting from the airport to the resort. Same with resort to downtown. Definitely a family &/or senior destination resort. Loved it would highly recommend and we will go back.

The views were lovely. Staff friendly. Nightly entertainment enjoyable very talented dancers. The food was mediocre. Very repetitious and only one restaurant to eat dinner at unless you were able to make a reservation at one of the specialty restaurants Making a reservation was difficult. Even going at the start of there new week.

En general todo bien, solo que la gente aparta camastros desde las 7am y eso no está bien, en otros hoteles de la zona hacer eso está prohibido

Rooms eere clean. Staff at fron desk like Francisco were very helpful. Staff in the buffet like Marguerita and Juan were courteous and kind.

La habitación no cumplía con lo establecido, la cama tiene un cubrecolchon de plástico muy caluroso e incomodo, el sanitario se salia el agua y se tapaba sin razon alguna, el refrigerador no enfriaba lo suficiente, no me dieron la habitación wur pedi von cama King

Very clean resort,great food and friendly staff!

Clean rooms and amazing staff.

Very clean grounds and accommodating staff. Drinks were not great, very sweet and syrupy. Get thepremium package, it was worth it! Food was descent. We swam in the ocean all 12 days and it was beautiful. Walking distance to some shops and an art gallery. Experienced 2 earthquakes which was interesting for us Canadians. Will definitely be back to Huatulco area!
