The restaurant just closed about a month ago unfortunately. (But there is Peter's Drive Inn behind the hotel). This was one of the reasons why I chose this place. The staff are friendly. The complimentary hot breakfast consists of precooked pork sausages, precooked omelettes, bread you can make toast, the famous "make your own waffles", cereal, yogurt, some kind of granola(?)coffee tea and juices. The coffee offered at the buffet in the dispensers seemed watered down but im a coffee snob. The hotel offers shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion in refillable dispensers so that helps to keep those little bottles out of the landfill. Pretty good quality too. I tried the swimming/wading pool. Temperature was not cold but not warm, just right i guess. I ran out of time and wasn't able to try the workout room which looked spacious with a few TV and floor fans.

I think the hotel can improve and offer more varied breakfast options. They always serve the same thing as every other hotel. I believe they could innovate by offering a good breakfast that's different from everyone else's.

The AC was so loud we had to turn it off. The shower was broken. My husband went to the front desk and was given the room key for across the hall to shower. Maintenance could use attention. Staff was excellent and room was clean.

The front desk staff were fine. They were neither particularly welcoming nor rude, just fairly neutral in their interactions. The beds were not especially comfortable, and the breakfast was about what you would expect from a complimentary hotel buffet. The biggest disappointment was the pool. The kids were really looking forward to it and found it quite underwhelming. The location, however, is excellent. There are many restaurants and great coffee shops within a short walking distance. Overall, considering the low room rate, this hotel offers good value for the money.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. The room was exceptionally clean and had a fresh, pleasant smell.

My go to hotel was a pleasant stay. Air conditioner in the room was making noise so hard to sleep. TV didn’t work and was offered another room but it was late at night. Suggest cleaners add “check tv remote” during their clean/assessment of the room.

AC was not working had to visit 7 room at 1am in the morning to finally find one working. Staff was amazing in helping and quite a luck property was almost empty so plenty of room to visit to finally found one with working AC in it. Was quite a challenge for the poor guy at front desk. Hotel was aware of the issue prior to stay as AC unit were unplugged. They shouldn't accept reservation when they know it will be 28C in the room. That's not ok. Ill never reserve there anymore.

Hope hotel should provide disposable slippers and toothbrushes.

We had a kitchen which was great and a super breakfast each morning. Ideally located!

We greatly enjoyed the hot breakfasts (We had omlettes, sausage, hash browns and make your own waffles.) There were other choices like cereal, yogurt, toast, etc. and one day there were scrambled eggs but we preferred the omlettes. The breakfast area was very clean and well supplied, and Anisha, the person who greeted us, was very friendly and helpful. She always gave us a great start for our day, making sure we had everything we needed and making us feel very welcome and appreciated. The beds were comfortable and rooms were a good size, with a nice desk, TV, chest of drawers, fridge and microwave. We did not use any other facilities such as the pool. The location was good - close to main routes and within walking distance of places like Tim Hortons, McDonalds and Mr. Sub.

Pool were very cold and were not really swimable. Room drawers keep opening, need to be fixed . Breakfast were okay.
