Great room. Fab breakfast. Staff really friendly.

Had a wonderful time in Newcastle, in part due to my stay at Grey Street Hotel. The location is great, at a lovely vibrant street very close to the train and metro. The building has lots of character, my room was tidy, plenty spacious, well-equipped, cool, quiet, and comfortable with a nice view. Especially appreciated the bath/shower combo which allowed a nice relaxing bath or a quick shower. Staff was very friendly, and I found the breakfast better than other hotels as a variety of dishes can be made on-demand in addition to the available buffet. Will definitely come back here for future visits to Newcastle!

Fantastic room with excellent facilities. Wish I’d had time to use the amazing bath! Loved the overall appearance of the property. Extra points for use of Ringtons refreshments. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was top notch. Will stay again

Frühstück sehr gut (wenn auch nicht so wie auf den Fotos) und frisch zubereitet! Zimmer in Ordnung. Fenster kann leider nicht geöffnet werden, daher ist lüften nicht möglich. Soweit sauber, wenn auch staubig und abgewohnt. Keine Klobürste, keine Wattepads o.ä. im Bad, nur diebstahlsichere Kleiderbügel - in einem 4-Sterne-Haus würde ich mir da etwas anderes erwarten. Personal am Eingang wirkt gleichgültig. Aufzug klein und spinnt immer wieder gern - dann heißt es Treppen steigen (Frühstücksraum ist im zweiten Untergeschoß). Die Lage des Hotels ist top.

Breakfast was excellent, staff were very friendly couldn't fault the hotel could thourly recommend it , we were nice and comfortable for the 2days we were there.

Lovely hotel with helpful staff. Located very close to both the station and the centre of Newcastle, with shops and lots of cafes etc. Grey Street has the best historic architecture in Newcastle so very pleasant surroundings. Highly recommended.

Grey Street Hotel is in a lovely part of the city and you can easily walk to loads of places to eat, drink, and see. The staff were really helpful, the room comfy and well maintained (Emily made up our room part way through our stay and it was thoughtfully done), we would certainly recommend.

The welcome staff were really good room was great. The only bad mark for room 23 was that the bath plug didn't seal

Nice room with tea/coffee making facilities plus hairdryer,iron & board. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially at breakfast time. Breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choice and freshly made cooked breakfast to order. A very nice hotel and well worth a stay
