If you are looking for experience real Fiji life style. This resort is definitely the choice for you. With big and comfort family room just in front of beach, you can relax under sunshine or snorkeling (jetty side is the best area). Good food and lovely staff make you are staying at home. Different from other island, it take only 10 min to get onto the main island. You can then visit the Lautoka local market to buy local food/fruit or pick a decent restaurant (e.g:"Three hungry bears" or even MacDonald) to enjoy different taste. Would love to highly commend staff at Belo Vula resort . They made sure our stay was great. everyone including cleaners, restaurant staff and ferry boat drivers were so helpful. We had a pleasant 4 day stay and made so many friends.

Beautiful island. The local staff just amazing genuine people. Island is so close to mainland and the boat/punt which is free & always available. I will be back time & time again

Easy 5min boat ride from pier to resort, lovely staff, beautiful & relaxing stay, had 2 nights with us at resort, chef cooked special meals on request. Would come back again.

The majority of staff deserve 5 stars: professional and kind. The 3-star review is about lack of A/C, very unstable wifi, and lack of amenities, though listed: no spa, no snorkeling equipment. I asked 5 times to have someone fix the A/C, it was never fixed; I was never moved to a room with A/C. I had to go to the restaurant to have wifi, which is not very private, nor convenient. I did ger an in-room , 90-minutes massage, which was relaxing. The pool was great. Parts of the private beach were dirty- but that’s everyone’s responsibility to keep clean.

We had a wonderful stay at this little bit of island paradise. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I would love to go back again!

The staff was absolutely outstanding. The private island was wonderful. Complimentary water taxi to/from the island included. Large bungalows with stunning views. It was wonderful sleeping to the island breezes. The facility is dated, but to us added to the Fijian charm. The beach was wonderful and seeing the fishes, crabs, and stingrays added to the charm of the place. The only thing that would have added to our stay would have been lounge chairs.

The property has potential — nice views of the water, staff was nice and accommodating. The food was pretty good overall. My biggest issues were that my room was rundown, and the beach area was dirty. I would not stay here again. Regarding the room — the AC and fans worked well, and my room was spacious. However, various doors didn’t slide or close properly, the half wall had old dirty sand inside and remnants of dead plants and some other stuff, someone left a utensil on one of the beds, and the shower had no hot water and didn’t spray straight. Regarding the property, there was some broken glass right outside my room. I also went on a walk down the beach and saw plastic bottles, chip bags, and a soggy diaper. The property also had animal poop all around. Not sure what type of animal it was but it really was scattered by the main areas — including the path between the restaurant, check-in office and rooms. It would not be too difficult to take the time and clean up the area.

We have just spent an idyllic 7 nights at Belo Vula Resort and loved every minute. The staff go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable, stress free and relaxing, we felt like part of the family whilst we were there.

I arranged a airport transfer with this property and gave them the flight details When we arrived at the airport no one was there. Our flight was delayed about 45 mins due to bad weather at take off but they would have been able to check this. We were stranded at the airport Thankfully a local couple helped us and took us to the pier that goes to hotel . They also contacted the hotel to send a boat to get us otherwise wouldn’t have anywhere to stay. I had prepaid the accommodation.The boat driver showed us the room. We saw no one else as we had to leave at 6.30 am . Nothing open for food on arrival or departure They have not replied when I asked why they didn’t pick us up Very bad service

Very quaint immersed in local culture. Staff is great, and very accommodating to provide complimentary boat transportation to and from the island. Food selection good and affordable. Great views and private island vibes. Will definitely return for a longer stay.

There is rubbish constantly in the water and washing up on the beach, so we didn't feel confident to swim there. Jetskis were not available during our stay, we were very dissapointed, only kayaks were available. There was a lot of noise from cargo ships unloading at night. Not much to do on island, no tv's in room, no internet in cabins. This place is far from any day tours. Staff were nice and helpful, lovely people. Rooms were average and need maintenance.

The resort is in poor condition and dirty. The mosquitos and sand flys have taken over. There are goat sheets all over places. Piles of rubbish in the garden. Basically except some broomsticks brooming, there was is no hygiene., Staff are genuine and nice. Never come back or recommend this place.,,

I booked the Garden Family Buir. The room was not as nice as depicted in Expedia photos. Nice swans towels on bed, however no bath or hand towels in bathroom. Had to request from reception. The outside gardens and beach access is very nice. Transport to the island is through a motorised dingy/ boat. The bed is comfortable and bedsheets are clean. Bathroom is old but functional. Amazingly no issues with mosquitoes, just lots of toads at night. No Internet in rooms only in main dining area. Air condition was faulty. Remote doesn’t work. Operates only on a 25 degrees.. Have to switch on/off at power point. Bedside lamps have no light bulbs. Tea/coffee facilities available but no bin provided in room. Overall reasonably priced for the people on a budget. Location is great, just opposite cruise port.

The rooms, dining area and atmosphere was all really lovely. Getting to and from Lautoka very easy and staff all terrific - friendly, welcoming and helpful.
