Carlos at the front desk was friendly and provided excellent customer service. Our room was basic but clean and comfortable, perfect for our one night stay prior to our cruise.

Amazing location in Old San Juan.

Noisy, granola bars with coffee for the price of this hotel was shameful. The common area was sparce-patio tables and a few unbrellas indoors. Too much traffic, construction, loud people but I guess that's what you get for staying in the center of Old San Juan. Will not recommend this property to anyone who wishes a decent nights sleep. Very disappointing for the end of a good trip.Should have expected and done more research.

Don't accept a room overlooking the street. There is no sound barrier, even with the doors shut. You will hear everything outside all night long. The excuse we got from the staff is that it’s an old building and they aren’t permitted by the city to alter the front of the building due to its history. That’s fair but it shouldn’t then be rented out as hotel rooms.

Great location, clean and updated rooms and staff is excellent. We will be back!

Great place to stay.

Property was nice, staff friendly and is centrally located in old town San Juan. Would stay again.

The hotel is well situated in Old Town with easy access to the fort or the port. Nice courtyard area with seating. Our room, 304, was nice sized. A forewarning to those wanting to book a balcony room - there are people yelling, singing, driving, playing music loudly well into the middle of the night. You will be awakened multiple times.

AC great room very clean. Staff very nice.

As reserved, the room was simple and clean. It had a nice mattress and very comfortable sheets. The A/C was very good though I barely needed it. I appreciated the water bottles left in my room daily. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. Two minor things bugged me. In the shower there was no where to place my toiletries on a hook or shelf and the shower was a little tight to keep bending down to pick the bottles off the floor.

Great location but the street noise kept us up until 3am with loud cars and people partying.

It was fine for one night prior to our cruise. Room was clean, staff was great. Overall however, not great. The water in the shower was luke warm. We saw the same comment on a previous review but thought it might be circumstancial. Also, pretty noisy but we expected it being on the street side. Since the view is nothing to write home about, we would have chosen an interior room to reduce the noise level.

We enjoyed our stay. Located in the heart of old town. Quiet, clean friendly.

Excellent staff support during check in and check out. Great to have desk staff call for taxi.Good shop for treats, coffee, alcohol next door. Did not go to any shops but was able to walk to church and water concourse.

Very nicely situated in old San Juan. Easy walk to everything. A bit noisy at night if you have room overlooking the Calle. But the Calle room has great views of old San Juan.

We walked everywhere! A lot of construction going on now, but we will return.

Ali’s at the front desk was wonderful! Close to lots of great restaurants.

Excellent hotel with an amazing staff. Location is great !!

Location was excellent. We paid a hefty price for the balcony room and it was disappointing, reason being is that the room had no coffee machine, no closet, 2 towels in the bathroom and the checkin time was 4pm and the departing time was 11am. On Sunday evening, the noise outside was extremely loud it was terrible and due to having balcony shutters it only made it worse. My recommendation is to find a place further away from Armas that will be quieter and much much cheaper...i could have stayed at a Hilton much cheaper with amenities such as a pool, patio and a coffee machine...bad move on my part...
