Everything was good.. I enjoyed my stay.

Spa is a stretch - a grubby pool with a stinky filter is a better description. Greeting by reception made me feel like a nuisance, he really coudlnt be bothered. The menu was not the full menu shown on the website, so lots of options missing, the cocktails are in a tin, but the price would indicate it was freshly made. The kettle didnt work, the water in the shower was cold so overall a real let down. I did complain at the time and in writing when I returned home, still waiting for a response

Terrible experience on both Expedia and the hotel. I booked a room, did the pre-checking online after expedia sends me a messague. When I go to the hotel around 6.30 p.m. the guy at reception casually tells me that they cannot accommodate me because they had an issue with my room. That's it. On top of that; the person at reception tells me as if it helps that they contacted Expedia at 5p.m. which then when I called Expedia hours later after doing my own arrangements was not True. Horrible communication on both parts. No apologies, no solutions other than calling Expedia for nothing as they were not even aware of the situation. Then they have the audacity to call me at almost midnight after our call dropped 5 hours earlier.

I didn’t think it was 4 star hotel, carpet was dirty and walls are scuffed, restaurant was ok, but service wasn’t great. Bathroom is the newest and nice, bed is very comfortable though

This is the third time I've stayed here and honestly every time it gets worse. The hotel is beautiful and the location convinient. But thats all.... I came down for breakfast at 9am (breakfast is surved until 10am) and there was barely anything left, no joices, no milk couple of slices of bread,no tea bags. And there was a table reserved for 20 people so they knew that they had a lot of people coming for breakfast still. I was sat down for 30 minutes at no point did they bring anything new out. And the quality of the food was not great either...

Hotel grounds and facilities were nice, room was small but comfortable Had 2 hours sleep due to banging doors, people falling about drunk in corridors all night. Somebody knocking in my door at 5:30 am looking for somebody. A wedding party taking over the whole hotel, from 6:30am being very loud. All in all, it is the worst experience I have had in a hotel.

The hotel looks tired including the decor at the entrance of faded artificial flower garlands and lounge furniture Cleaners cleaning bathroom surfaces with bathroom towels and wiping glasses and mugs with napkins rather than washing them Wobbly toilet roll holder and toilet seat

The hotel was clean and well presented. The beds were comfortable and I liked that there was a mini fridge in the room for someone who has young kids that's great to pop some juice in past the usual tea and coffee. The bathroom was clean and tidy with no broken bits. We had a meal in the evening and that was amazingly nice and didn't break the bank. The staff were all friendly and very helpful and the breakfast was great quality and had a good selection. There was disabled parking right outside the reception which was a great. Only bit that was a downside for us on this trip was the swimming pool is 18+ my 9 year old was a little sad about that. But the place is clean the staff are great the food was lovely and it was a good chunk cheaper than bland chain hotels which are never as nice or as clean.

Shower pressure really poor. When I spoke to them in reception got the normal I’ll get somebody to look at that….. you should no if your facilities work. This wasn’t a one off incident.

Really run down. Dirty carpets. Damaged bathrooms. Lime scale on showers. Rooms smelt. Corridors are dirty. Would not recommend

Room was clean and tidy, shower nice and hot, only let down on the room was it felt cold by the windows, ok once curtains drawn. Breakfast was first rate cooked fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful

The room was clean but small, particularly as it was for 3 people. Luckily only two of us but still very tight. No water in the room, no room service for the price we paid I would expect more from it! The breakfast was poor and very basic but Very nice hotel grounds and surroundings. No lift which is difficult if you have lots of bags and are on upper floors.

This was my second time staying in the hotel and i was disappointed unfortunately... My room had a weird smell when i arrived regardless of the windows being opened. The bathroom had seen better days, it was worn down and when i ran a bath for myself, I had to empty it and clean it myself as there were pubes(not mine) and other dirt floating in it... My duvet cover was dirty, it had some dried out fluid on the bottom side. The breakfast was poorly topped at 8:30 in the morning(still 1.5 hours befor the end of it 11:00) no fried eggs lots of stuff missing and not been topped up.
