It seems that the staff are not used to greet guests good morning and the like. Also ,the restaurant is under renovation until end March, so reduced breakfast has to be served inside room. The environment outside the hotel is good,though, with many restaurants nearby.

Easy parking, friendly receptionist, She noted we came as a family and gave us interconnecting rooms without having to be asked, Extra Brownie points. The rooms were large and clean with excellent air conditioning. Good Continental breakfast at a reasonable price. The hotel is located in a good location and is reasonably priced. As a result I strongly recommend it.

The Receptionist struggled to find our booking and then charged us again for the stay, even though we had already paid. We had to request a refund. A customer had to show us where the car park was as the receptionist appeared confused at this request. After paying for parking there wasn’t a space for us to park our car on the first night. We parked at the front of the hotel until the next day. The room was quite cold and very dark even with the lamps on. There was a small window in a recess which looked out on a brick wall. The hair dryer could not be used as the flex was not long enough. On the whole, we were very disappointed with the room. However, we did like the shower, there was ample hot water and lovely fresh towels and the breakfast was also very good.

The Holiday inn, Brayford along the canal, wasn’t far to walk the steep inclement to the cathedral, castle or to little shops. Lincoln is a beautiful place to visit, full of historical and character buildings, mixed with new. The people are very nice and helpful here.

The room was clean, staff were very helpful and moved us room quickly when one of the beds wasn’t right. Nice breakfast plenty of choice. We managed to get parked in car park with no problems. Great location.

Perfect location for visiting Lincoln and within walking distance from the train station. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area

My room was small, overlooked a bleak car park, and had a strange smell when I arrived. Staff told me no better room was available. In the morning, I realized the carpet was wet under the air-conditioning unit in the room and it smelled quite damp. I reported the dampness to the staff, who seemed a bit indifferent. Really not a pleasant room.

Located in Brayford Pool, where the old port wharf has been redeveloped like other cities (Gloucester etc) in has a car park and big multistorey next door as well.£10.40 for 24 hrs. Excellent position for relaxed dining and drinking on terraces/outdoors. Short walk to main High St shops. A significant climb up to the elevated section of the city with cafes,shops and the Cathedral and Castle. Spacious room, but a little expensive. Excellent air conditioning on hottest day of year . Excellent breakfast. Major disappointed was the bar staff's refusal to start up the coffee machine at 23.06 hrs for 2 cappuccinos at the "24 hr bar ". We did have a coffee machine in our room. We'd certainly stay there again.

One night stay for concert.

The room and bathroom were both spacious and extremely clean. There was air conditioning and ample tea and coffee. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel has a good car park at the back and was well located with plenty of places to eat and a Tesco right next door.

We turned up at the hotel about 1.30pm on the Saturday and were told to come back at 3 to check in. We haven’t seen queues like it to check in to hotel! Everyone was absolutely fuming as we were all told to come back in check in at 3. It’s hard to believe that there was absolutely no rooms available for check in before 3pm to save all of the queues. There was 2 staff on reception and a “manager” hovering around out the back, not once did she come to any of us and explain what was happening. I was very unhappy about the situation and when we finally got to the front of the queue the receptionist wasn’t the happiest. I asked what the problem was she said it was a new system and that everyone turned up at the same time to check in!!! Everyone was told to come back at that time to check in so what did they expect! Won’t be booking to stay here again and definitely not worth £210 we paid for one night

Air-conditioning non functional gave up in end Bathroom a bit musty fan not working Which seems to be normal in hotels these days Was very busy so staff seemed a bit short at times 2 cleaners arguing in lift lobby so we had to wait for lift until they had finished Been here before don't think will be back a third trip Not for the price we paid

Great stay enjoyed the whole experience
