My bedroom was very large as was the bathroom - and it had a bath! The room was cleaned efficiently every day. I never take breakfast in foreign hotels as part of the joy of travelling is to find a local cafe and enjoy its ambience - plenty of those nearby. From my point of view the hotel was in an excellent location - it's in a quiet street just a few hundred yards from the historic centre. You can get to the historic centre in a few minutes. Taxis can get there easily too. There are plenty of hotels in the historic centre but, in a city with so many tourists and a tendency for people to dine late, I suspect that those hotels would be quite noisy at night. Although I'm unlikely ever to come to Málaga again to stay in the city, if I did I would have no hesitation of booking here again.

Great experience at the Mariposa hotel , rooms were very clean, staff was very friendly and professional , great breakfast served and service, rooftop bar staff was very friendly and welcoming, would definitely stay at the Mariposa hotel in the future.

Excellent hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable and always clean. Staff were always friendly and welcoming when we were coming and going and a fantastic roof top bar is a do not miss! The hotel is conveniently located for the city centre, harbour and about a 20 minute stroll to the beach while being super quiet for sleeping at nighttime. Definitely will stay again in the future. Thank you Mariposa for making our 3 night break restful and comfortable.

An amazing location, minutes from the centre / harbour, without being noisy. The hotel has its own private garage which gives you direct access to the hotel. Staff were fantastic, very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Roof top bars is fantastic. Would like to say a special thanks to Marlon, he was still learning the ropes but kept our drinks topped up and was very pleasant.

Room wasn’t clean and carpet was stained. The bathroom wasn’t clean. Soap container was super old and not clean. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. The whole building smelled.

Nice staff, good breakfast, great location

Great location very close to the train station, but only a short walk into Malaga or the harbour. Very trendy hotel, lovely roof top bar. Great breakfast. Extremely comfy bed

What a fabulous hotel. Felt like home from home but in a 4 star setting. The staff were all lovely. The breakfast delicous and lots of choice. And the rooftop bar was a haven to enjoy a pre dinner aperitif of the local vermouth. The room cleanliness, comfort and facilities were exceptional.
