The hotel is close to YHZ but desperately needs an infusion of capital for a full renovation

Convenient to airport (although that seems to add a fee? Seems like an $$ grab to me). Long term parking (reduced number of days included with one night - previously 14). Beds are not great. Coffee 24/7. Moderately Inexpensive.

Used the courtesy phone to call for the airport shuttle as instructed, until after waiting on hold for 10+ minutes, an airport employee told me they would never pick up and I’d be better off just going to wait outside and hoping they’d come around. I called an Uber instead as I had dinner plans and couldn’t afford to just wait indefinitely with my fingers crossed. Definitely disappointing when it’s a stated service they offer. Hotel was fine, very dated and rundown but the room itself was very big and clean.

Staff were nice, and was close to the airport. Rooms were fairly dirty and not well maintained (dirty sink, bandage in shower(wasn’t mine), etc). Breakfast was not good, very limited options. For the price I would recommend staying somewhere else.

The beds were clean and comfortable however the bathroom was not clean. There was a shower cap left in the shower, hair on the toilet seat and toilet paper waded up in the sprinkler system. The sink was cracked and water leaked a bit from the faucet onto the counter which was always wet. There were noticeable stains in the carpet in the hallways and stairs. The complimentary breakfast was not very good. I couldn’t eat there the 2nd morning.

I liked that it was close to the airport, but so were other hotels that were a bit more expensive. I will pay the extra the next time ! The hotel is in very poor condition. From the moment we entered the premises it reminded me of a run down motel... It smells, I itched the entire time and realize the night before we left lots of small insects were crawling on the window pane and the AC unit. When it was time to shower the water would be brown with rust coming out the pipe, it had to run for a few seconds before it ran clear. When we told the front desk about the water color, they said it's because of the construction next door. I asked why don't they inform the guest before they go to the room. To make a long story short, we will not be staying there in future. The breakfast menu was the same thing everyday. It was a very musty ...

Great place to stay a few days!

The Hotel is quite an old one and needs to be updated a bit. Its location to the airport is ideal, but it takes quite a bit of wear and tear from its ‘passing through’ customers. It is a comfortable hotel and has its own character, different not like all the chains. Breakfast was included - Buffet style - very good. It also has a great restaurant with good food and helpful staff and the Airport Shuttle works well - every half hour (quarter to the hour and quarter past) and only takes minutes to get to the airport.

The room was clean but the whole place is a little run down. Fine for an overnighter near the airport. As its an airport hotel people do come and go all night and the doors are heavy and slam noisily. Due to this the night can be a bit disrupted if you're not a very sound sleeper. Fine for what it was.

I had a disappointing experience with the airport shuttle service. Unlike other shuttles that drop passengers directly at the arrivals terminal, this shuttle dropped us off quite far away. It was very inconvenient, especially with luggage. I hope they can improve this and start dropping passengers at the arrivals entrance like everyone else."
