It’s a very rustic quaint 100 year-old plus property service was excellent grounds are beautiful. Pool area was very very nice. Highly recommend recommended.

Staff will help with anything you can think of and even suggest ideas you may not have thought of. Henry at the front desk area was outstanding!

This is a crumbling relic of a hotel. Nothing was clean or comfortable. Awful smell coming from the bathroom taps/water.

Unfortunately we were put into room 211 which had noisy pipes to the point we couldn't sleep. On top of that, you could also hear the elevator noises. The pool was closed an hour early for maintenance, breakfast was extra busy but great. Our horrible sleep was the worst though. When checking out, a man was at the counter complaining about our room 211 because he had originally been put in that room but complained about the noise and got moved. When we said we were in that room after him, he and we too got so mad at the staff for continuing to try to put people in that room. They knew that a customer had complained the night before, did nothing to fix the pipes and then tried to pass off the room on us. When he said this and we were angry, the staff did nothing, said nothing, offered nothing. I also emailed them and have had no respond as of yet. Unbelievable. Sneaky and deceitful to put us in that room. Poorly managed hotel. I'm making a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and others should too.

We had a wonderful stay at the Digby Pines. The historic charm of the resort was superb. Our dinner at Churchill's Restaurant was truly a night to remember: great atmosphere, food and staff. The breakfast buffet was unbelievable. An amazing assortment of choices. Every staff member that we encountered was pleasant and eager to assist us.

The hotel staff are very friendly . The rooms are nice , but dated . The food at the hotel is excellent . The bar and any entertainment are very good , but they shut down early, by 10 pm ; this seems to be normal in the area . The associated golf course Digby Pines , as of last week , was in extremely poor condition . The staff there were extremely pleasant , but I wouldn't play it again for free .

Great relaxing vibe!

We stayed at Digby Pines for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer! The grounds were stunning, the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, the bed was comfortable, and the outdoor pool great (though a little on the colder side). The walk down to the rocky beach in the morning was so calm and beautiful, the water looked like glass. We did not get to participate in the resort activities due to other scheduling, but hope to come back to fully enjoy all it has to offer. Churchill’s breakfast buffet was great, but the service in the evening was sub par at best - the kids pasta was tiny, we did not get any water refills, and it took 25 mins to wait for a kids scoop of ice cream after we ordered - this was after 9pm too, so not mid-rush. Either way, the food was good. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room, but not a dealbreaker. We would highly recommend Digby Pines to anyone staying in the area!

Always a lovely stay at Digby Pines. Cheerful, helpful staff. The Resort has a lot of charm!

Rooms were not cleaned. Was given a twin bed vs what it was supposed to be a queen bed. The pull out was full of dust.

A classic location and building but looking dated. Ceiling and upper areas of bathroom were dirty. Worst part was I found an ugly insect in my coffee which must have come out of their Keurig machine. I strongly suggest they give the machines a good cleaning.

The hotel room was dated, the bathroom toilet seat needs replacement, it was worn and dirty to the point where it could not be cleaned! Dinner in the restaurant was very disappointing, we both agreed we would not eat there again. The lobster roll was mostly mayo, the dinner buns were to hard to eat. The scallop/shrimp combo was good but the portion was small with 3 small scallops. However it is a beautiful property and the lounge area was very nice

We loved our spacious and very comfortable room in the old section, and the breakfasts were consistently good. We ate dinner in dining room one night and it was good. Marta was so helpful to arrange a last minute 6 night stay, without us having to move rooms. Digby is such a gem, but you can tell they are not investing in making improvements while the property is for sale. The pool was freezing cold, with the heater broken. Although my massage at the spa was good, the massage table and room were bare bones. The computer in the lobby is broken. However with all that said, it is a relaxing place, staff like Alan and Marta made us feel at home. And the location is so convenient to many places.

You have to carry all your luggage upstairs to check in. The room smelled like a very old building. I Febrezed the carpet, bed, and restroom; unfortunately, it didn’t help. The clothes I hung in the closet had the musty smell from the room. It didn’t have a fridge. The conditioner and soap dispensers in the shower were empty. The curtains were falling off the rod. We had a view of the water, but you couldn’t see out the window in the morning because of the condensation between the panes. I would rate this a 2 star instead of 4 star hotel.
