We were disappointed with our stay. Before arrival, we specifically requested a quiet room, yet were initially assigned a first-floor room directly above the hotel’s bar area. After raising the issue, the staff did move us to a room on the third floor, which we appreciated.
Unfortunately, the problems continued. The hotel does not have air conditioning, and with temperatures around 80°F, we had no choice but to keep the windows and door open. As a result, cigarette smoke from the bar below drifted into the room throughout the evening. The noise from guests talking outside continued until nearly midnight. As someone with asthma, the smoke made the experience particularly uncomfortable. Since we had to wake up at 6:30 a.m. to catch a flight, we ended up getting very little sleep.
Cleanliness was also a concern. There was a significant amount of hair in the shower upon arrival, and the overall condition of the room did not feel well maintained. The hotel itself is quite dated and could benefit from updates.
The one standout feature is the beautiful view, which is truly impressive. Unfortunately, the view alone was not enough to make up for the lack of cleanliness, comfort, and restful sleep.
