Great location, a few minutes from the train station and that's why we picked it. If you stay here make sure to have a meal in "El Cateto", a couple blocks away. The room was OK, clean, and the size was fine. The main problem is that there is a significant lack of surfaces to open bags on. A couple luggage racks that can be stored away would have been amazing. On the same trend, There isn't a single surface in the shower to put anything, NONE! We ended up placing our toiletries on the rain shower (see pics). I understand that makes it easier to clean but it is very inconvenient for your guests.
Another thing: there was a later addition of an elevator (appreciated), placed outside the building, because I guess that was the only engineering solution that worked to make the place accessible. The problem is this is a glass enclosure standing under the Sevillian sun all day, and the actual elevator is a metal box, which means you get none of the traits of looking outside but get cooked inside during your short trip.
Last, the pool looked nice and enticing. That is, until you jump in. The water was so cold, soooo cold, we lasted 2 minutes in. If it is 35C (95F) outside, you do not need a 15C (60F) water to cool down and enjoy. That killed it for us.
Other than that, the staff was really nice and every cab driver in town knows were the hotel is, which helps with mobility.
