之前看评价说房间很差，担心了半天，入住后觉得一点也不差，就是房间里没有wifi信号（房间内收费），自己的网络也时有时无。如果选择一楼前台区域楼上的房间，可以接受到大堂的免费wifi信号。 我最喜欢的走10分钟来到海边栈道，一路晨跑，再看个日出把自己感动到哭。栈道会途径一个小镇及它的火车站，可以让你拍很久。

Great location loved my room as a solo traveller,the grounds and the atmosphere was really nice, great breakfast.

Lovely big old hotel,staff friendly,location 10 mins walk to Grange over sands.

We had an excellent stay. The room was a little tired but exceptionally clean. We had a room with a wonderful view of the sea. The grounds are extensive and beautifully maintained. Bar meals and service were exceptional as was the buffet breakfast. Overall, excellent value for money

The staff were very helpful. When I had a minor issue they went out their way to make sure I had a great stay. The food in the bar is excellent.

Staff were solving the problem straight away.

Overall the stay was OK. Receptionist was not friendly and Wi-Fi connectivity was poor.

The hotel was conveniently placed about 10 minutes walk to the railway station and 15-20 minutes walk into the town. There was plenty of free parking and the hotel is set in nice grounds. The hotel is a grand old building but in places could do with a bit of an upgrade certainly in the rooms where our balcony windows had seen better days. Breakfast was good and a nice hot and cold buffet selection. Plus the service was good. Nice bar area but shut fairly early and apart from Saturday you couldn’t get a drink past about 10.45 pm! all the staff were very pleasant (apart from head bar man who always seemed miserable and couldn’t shut early enough ☹️). Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Not clean room very strong smile , no A/C even bottle water to drink or fridge not recommended at all

Great staff. Nice bar. Lovely outside. Room walls were very thin, could hear the guy snoring nextdoor. Any conversation in the hallway, I could hear. Not worth what I spent to be honest. It’s not as bad as I’m going to say but inside needs taking apart and rebuilding to more solid foundations. I know what I’m getting at a premier inn or holiday inn. Shame really as the location is immense

Room was clean. View was amazing. Very little room on one side of the bed so getting in and out was tight. Wonky mirror above sink. Bar staff excellent. Restaurant staff efficient. The whole hotel although it had much character had a run-down feeling about it. Enjoyed walking in the grounds and close to town centre. Plenty of room to park.

Its a grand old hotel. It has everything you would need. One of the highlights was having a bedroom with a balcony that looked out over Morecambe bay. Beautiful. If you like somewhere with a bit of character, and a peacock !, this is the place for you ! Thanks Liz

Everything needs updating. Bathroom facilities only satisfaction and the shower was unsatisfactory. The room was dark and the lighting Best thing about it it was the bed comfortable and large.

Loved the old feel of the place and history, like being back in a military mess, friendly and comforting bar, great views from the room.

Fantastic building from days gone by Needs a lot of work, single glazed windows, bedrooms, bathrooms very out dated,overpriced at £200, very old fashioned like your granny’s house Main rooms damp on ceiling the whole place needs up dating
