Good staff here.but the size of room is small compared with other hotels in the center of Madrid on the same level of price.

Solo female traveler, first time in Madrid. Air conditioning was good. Room was small but clean. Staff were polite. Walkable to major areas and restaurants. No gym, restaurant or major amenities on site. Unfortunately there was some questionable activity outside and throughout the night. Walls are thin so heard snoring and phone conversations. Mattress terrible, poor sleep quality.

Close to everything that we wanted to do. Convenient for neighborhood services and local transportation. Excellent spacious, and quiet room.

Fiquei somente uma noite e gostei muito. Ótima localização, limpa e vários comércios ao lado. Único inconveniente foi um bar na frente que fez barulho durante a noite, mas estava tão cansada que dormi na mesma. Voltaria a me hospedar lá com certeza.

La ubicación es perfecta, a 2 minutos caminando de la Gran Via, todo queda cerca, muchos bares, restaurantes, tiendas.

속소가 중심가라 위치가 좋고, 내부가 청결합니다. 다만 드라이기와 냉장고는 없었어요. 에어컨 잘 동작합니다.

Very clean room, only stayed one night but also convenient location close to Gran Via & many restaurants nearby. AC worked well & bathroom was a good size. Room was spacious and property was well maintained. Would stay here again.

The only problem was the thin walls between the walls. One night there was a noisy person in the room next to mine, and that made it difficult to sleep.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hostal Ballesta in Madrid. One thing I really liked was the room with computers, almost like a small workspace. It was very handy and a great idea, as I have not really seen that in a hotel before. My double room was very nice, spacious and comfortable, with a good desk and a smart TV, which made it easy to relax and also get things done. The location was also excellent, just a short walk from Gran Vía, with plenty of food places, bars, shops and metro links nearby. The only thing I did not like was that the same workspace room also had a communal fridge and microwave for guests to store and heat food. I think this should ideally be in a separate room, as it takes away from the workspace feel. Overall, a very good stay in a great location, with a nice room and helpful facilities.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hostal and cannot recommend it enough! The Location: You truly couldn't ask for a better spot. It is incredibly central, making it easy to walk to major attractions, local tapas bars, and metro stations. Everything Madrid has to offer is right on your doorstep. The Room: Spotlessly clean and well-maintained. It’s clear that the housekeeping staff takes great pride in their work, as everything was pristine from the moment I walked in. The Staff & Service: The absolute highlight of my stay. The staff here are incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. To top it all off, they were kind enough to accommodate an early check-in for me completely free of charge, which was amazing after a long journey. If you are looking for a clean, perfectly located place to stay in Madrid with a team that genuinely cares about their guests, this is it. I will definitely be back!
