Excellent

Das Hotel war super, alle waren sehr freundlich. Lediglich der Zimmerservice kam nicht sehr oft in unser Zimmer, Espressomaschine (was ich gut finde) wurde gar nicht aufgefüllt. Gründe dafür konnte ich nicht herausfinden. Ich finde die Getränke im Hotel sind etwas teuer, aber für das was angeboten wird, ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gut.

A recommander

Excellent location, walking distance to Plaka and a short car ride to Elounda. The property is well maintained and enjoys a private beach. The only negative experience was the overwhelming kids on the beach and the breakfast areas despite the dedicated adults only areas which were not respected by guests nor enforced by the staff.

I view this as a base level 4 star, not a 5 star hotel as advertised. There a pieces that are up to that level (beach bar, welcome greeting) but others fall flat of expectations. It's certainly geared more towards families than couples and I would not endorse this if you don't have or want to hear children at all times. To eat anywhere on the property for dinner requires a reservation that cannot be made until you check in and then none are available once you do and you're left in a scramble. Areas of improvement: The layout of the bathroom was odd where the toilet was in the shower so you couldn't actually use the non-rainshower option or it would cover the toilet. It's also difficult to get in touch with staff unless you go to reception which is quite far for some accommodations or stay in your room. The TVs don't have any streaming apps or screen mirror capabilities. The headboard had a deep stain that was unpleasant. As always, do your research and check if other options nearby could be a better value for you.

The Domes of Elounda was a beautiful property. The facilities including pools were beautiful. The reason I give it an ok is due primarily to service and maintenance considering the price. I expected 5 stars and got 4. The first night our electric went out. They fixed that that night but the hot tub did not work until the next day. The bar servers were incredibly slow. Other service was slow as well due to most of the servers being new. The cart drivers were great as well as reception.

Outstanding hotel in infrastructure, extremely comfortable room and very sympathetic employees.

Roomservice lässt bei dieser Kategorie dann doch zu wünschen übrig. Sonst alles wunderbar, einfach und unkompliziert.

Should have automatic access to sauna and spa given it’s a spa hotel only access is if you have a treatment for 30 mins and if over they charge you on top of having already paid for a premium treatment

Beautiful hotel. We stayed in a suite with a private pool which was excellent. Amazing views out to spinalonga. Lovely restaurants within the resort. Elounda and plaka within short walking distance.

Private beach is a hidden gem, facilities are all spotless, staff are very attentive and friendly, food quality is very nice and great selection across all restaurants

Good hotel but excavation / construction happening just behind the villas in October 2025

The hotel has a beautiful structure. The room was big and clean, but needs some refreshing. The shower was very small and water was going everywhere. We had a private pool but it was not heated and felt too cold as there was no sun in the afternoon. The gym was clean but was not well equipped especially for people targeting weight lifting. The big pool was heated and nice. The private beach was lovely and idilyc with separate areas for kids and adults only. Cooktails and food were extremely expensive and we could see people were avoiding to consume because of that. Night entertainment is poor and it's a pity that the beach bar closes at 6pm. It would be great if the beach bar was open during the night and if prices were more reasonable. The food in the buffet is average. I wouldn't take the half board option again. Even if there were many families with small kids it didn't feel crowded. The hotel has potential to be much better than it is with some improvements.

The best staff ever, they are all SO kind. Truly, we would never forget the people that we met there. And the room was very nice, really nice beach , amazing gym! Good variety of restaurants. Love our private village

This place has the best beach in the area by far and great service all around. There is a kiosk on their private beach where you can get a ride to Spinalonga Island. It's super convenient, fast and if you have at least 2 people it's the same price as the big, crowded boats out of Plaka or Elounda and it's private so you can come and go as you wish. If you have 4 people (we shared rhe ride with another couple) it's the same price as the big boats. Food and service at Makris and Blend is really super great but otherwise the main buffet restaurant is good but not incredible. Our king room with a private pool was very spacious and comfortable. Check out and check in was easy and the staff was wonderful. We also enjoyed the spa very much! Lots of kids/families so it can be active/loud but they try to set aside spaces for adults as best they can. I still think it's better than an adults only resort mainly for the great beach. It is sooo nice compared to any other one we visitied. There is really no reason to leave. Amazing views of the island from here, too.

Amazing stay. We had a wonderful time as a family with a 3 year old. The beach area was great, lots of beds, shade, calm water and areas for older kids to fish. Great pool area with shaded shallow kids pool. Entertainment shows for kids and music performances as well. Large rooms, lovely bathroom amenities and cot/sofa bed options for kids. Breakfast & dinner buffet was very good quality and variety. Staff everywhere were great and friendly. On site restaurants were of really high quality and some lovely Greek wines on the menu. Is set on a hill so lots of hills but golf buggies can take you around. Area around hotel is quiet and lovely villages of Plaka & Elounda a few mins drive
