When checking in the receptionist decided to speak to the Spanish customer behind us and totally ignored us half way through checking in. I had to say, “ can we have our key please”. We were taken to room 501 and the smell of drains were VERY unpleasant. We asked for another room and there weren’t any so we checked out as we couldn’t sleep in that room. They suggested sleeping with the window open! We arrived at 22:30 so then had to find alternative accommodation. The hotel would not give us a refund. It is not acceptable to offer a room that is not fit to sleep in due to strong drain smells.

Absolutely Fantastic Location in the center of it all. The rooftop pool was small but a real plus in the summer heat. Additionally the views from the rooftop of the Castle , City, and to the Sea were very nice. The rooftop Drink/Food Menu and creative presentation was a stand out.... What I didnt understand with the hotel name until I was there was the clever theme of the hotel "DORMIRCINE" which is to highlight a well known movie as a theme for each individual room. So each room has a mural of a scene in the movie, and memorable touches of each movie. A creative and Artistic touch which I appreciated. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and lovely rooms and bar and staff

När vi checkade in var standardrummet inte ordentligt städat. Det fanns bland annat hår, smulor och fläckar kvar på golvet efter tidigare gäster, fläckar på toaletten och hål i lakanen. Trots att hotellet fick flera möjligheter att städa om rummet blev resultatet fortfarande inte acceptabelt. Efter flera samtal med både receptionen och Hotels.com erbjöds vi ett Superior-rum. Hotellet ville först att vi skulle betala ytterligare 30 euro per natt för uppgraderingen, trots att orsaken till bytet var att deras standardrum inte höll rimlig hygienisk nivå. När vi var på väg att lämna hotellet fick vi i stället ett erbjudande om 15 euro extra per natt. Först efter ytterligare diskussion fick vi till slut Superior-rummet utan extra kostnad. Det som störde mest var inte bara den bristande städningen, utan hur situationen hanterades. Vi hade redan förlorat en stor del av semesterdagen på att dokumentera problemen, prata med receptionen, kontakta Hotels.com och inspektera rum. Att hotellet ändå försökte ta extra betalt för ett rent och acceptabelt rum kändes mycket dåligt. Även servicen i övrigt motsvarade inte vad jag förväntar mig av ett fyrstjärnigt hotell. När schampot tog slut fylldes det inte på av personalen. Vi fick själva hämta en ny behållare och montera den i badrummet. Frukosten var dessutom mycket liten, enkel och hade väldigt begränsad variation. Hade inte rekommenderat detta hotell till mina vänner iallafall.

Bra läge mellan kvällsrestauranger i Gamla stan och stranden.

Lovely hotel, lobby area is nice ( and cool) Nice welcome from staff. Room was great although we had no view. Love the quirkyness. Location is fantastic. Pool is great for a quick cool dip but don't expect to be in it all day it's v small. We didn't have breakfast but we're able to buy coffees. Mini bar I room is really reasonable compared to some hotels! Has all the things you need, iron, hairdryer and pool towels.

Perfect location for a weekend break. Didn't spend much time at the hotel as a weekend break. Nice touch to have shower facilities on day of departure after being on the beach all day. Would come back

We really enjoyed our stay here. Amazing location, clean large rooms, and loved the cinematic film touch to the hotel! Made it really special. And the pool area was amazing, the drinks you can order are incredibly done (very funny too). Only thing I would note, is we paid extra to have a king sized bed instead of two single beds put together, and we found it was still two beds put together not a one big bed like we wanted and thought we paid for. But really great staff, very friendly, and lovely hotel. Will definitely stay again if in the area! 😊

Bra o trevligt hotell mitt i stan!

Hyggelig personale, veldig sentralt nærme sentrum og stranden.

Poolområdet på taket är jättedåligt. Poolen är en meter bred och iskall. Kanterna på taket är så höga att du inte ser ut när du sitter ner. Alla sällskap som kom upp till poolområdet skrattade och gick. Bilderna stämmer ej med verkligheten.

Ligger perfekt i gamla stan, mycket nära badstranden, nära till busshållplats som tar dig till andra stränder eller flygplatsen. Svala fräscha rum. Personalen pratar bra engelska.

Very friendly and helpful staff in the reception and roof terrace. Breakfast had everything we wanted and supernive rooftop and well equipped gym!
