After checking in, our room key did not work, so we had to return to the lobby. One staff member initially explained it as a system issue, but another staff later corrected it, saying it was simply a mistake. Later, we came back to the lobby to look for drinking water, as none was provided in the room. Unlike most hotels we stayed at during this trip, there were no complimentary bottles, vending machines, or nearby convenience stores available. At check-out, a staff member asked us to pay for the stay again, even though it had already been fully prepaid through Expedia. I had to show the reservation and payment confirmation before another staff member stepped in and resolved the situation. Overall, the staff seemed unfamiliar with basic procedures, which caused unnecessary delays and stress. This ultimately affected our schedule, as we had to rush to continue our trip to Plitvice Lakes National Park. In addition, the hotel did not match the expectations set by the photos online. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel and would not choose to stay here

Unser Zimmer hatte kein Blick auf den Strand, sondern auf das Restaurant wo alle Gäste essen. Ich konnte also Tagsüber nie richtig lüften, weil da immer jemand rein schauen konnte. Ich finde es sehr schade, dass nur die Lobby vom Hotel renoviert wurde, als wir da angekommen sind waren wir von der schönen Lobby begeistert, aber als wir dann das Zimmer betreten haben, waren wir etwas enttäuscht. Aber im großen und ganzen war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt! Das Frühstück war lecker, es gab immer frisches Brot, frische Spiegeleier und auch frische Pancakes! Die fleißigen Damen haben das alles schön vorbereitet. Die Strände sind auch gleich beim Hotel. Die Location ist auch toll, wer wirklich zur Ruhe kommen möchte, ist dort richtig am Platz! Würden aufjedenfall wieder hin!

Hotel Pinija in Petrčane is in a lovely seaside location and the grounds are pleasant, but overall our stay was disappointing and not worth the price we paid. One of the biggest issues was the food. The hotel website advertises several restaurants on site, including an Asian restaurant, which was one of the reasons we booked. However, during our stay they were all closed and the only option available was the buffet restaurant. Breakfast was acceptable, but the lunch buffet was extremely poor with very limited choice and repetitive, unappealing food. Some of the evening meals were disappointing as well. One night there was so little that looked appealing that I ended up eating chicken nuggets and chips from the kids’ menu. Another issue was the outdoor pool. We had specifically been told before arriving that it was heated, which was important as we were travelling outside the peak summer season. Unfortunately it clearly was not heated and was far too cold to use comfortably, which was very disappointing. When we tried to raise our concerns with staff we didn’t really get anywhere, which added to the frustration. Overall it wasn’t terrible, but it certainly didn’t live up to expectations and felt very poor value for money. For a hotel that markets itself as a higher-end resort, this was extremely underwhelming.

The access to the water was great…if you enjoy cold swimming. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The Hotel was not what I expected. I was hopeful for more dining options and a nicer beach experience. The fact that we had to pay for lounge chairs if we wanted it after paying such high hotel rates was a lot.

It was a nice property, because it has a lot of different activity opportunities so that you never get bored. Moreover the whole place was really clean, so you always felt comfortable. Also the staff was really nice and welcoming, that we felt really special! Overall we would recommend this hotel very much!

Fanns ingenstans att torka strandhanddukar och blöta badkläder. Rummet var mörkt och trångt, inga sittplatser. Tyvärr gick det inte att uppgradera.

Reception staff were often unfriendly and many did not understand English properly. Cleanliness was poor: spider webs all around the balconies, sheets dirty and even with holes, and the balcony was never cleaned during my stay. I lost a swimsuit from my balcony and the staff simply said “we didn’t find anything” without trying to help. Sunbeds are supposed to cost €5/day, but in reality no one pays and people use them freely without any staff controlling the situation. There is no support at the beach for umbrellas or sunbeds. At the bar, staff always looked annoyed and not welcoming.

Perfekt läge precis vid stranden. Rymlig inomhus-pool och fräsch spa-avdelning med bastu. Bra frukost och fina rum. Bra utbud av restauranger, både inom hotellområdet och i den närliggande byn.

Frühstück war eine sehr große Auswahl. Echter Kaffee zum Frühstück! Sehr sauber und freundlich!

Hotel schön renoviert, die Zimmer sauber, Personal freundlich, das Essen lecker - aber leider zu viele Familien mit Klein-und Kleinstkindern und entsprechend der Trubel bei Frühstück und Abendessen. Wir haben ein Standard-Zimmer gebucht, wussten vorher nicht, das wir ein Fenster deshalb mit Ausblick auf eine Mauer bekommen würden. Das es keine hoteleigenen kostenfreien Liegen am Betonstrand gibt, war auch für uns unüblich. Es gab zwar einen Vorzugspreis für Hotelgäste aber nicht free of charge. Wir denken das wir nicht wiederkommen werden, da gibt es ruhigerere Angebote.

Jättefint hotell med bra miljö och fin service, stenhårda sängar dock som vi inte riktigt gillade samt så var lunchbuffén riktigt dålig men annars ett toppenställe

Eingangsbereich sehr stylisch eingerichtet. Restaurant zwar groß, aber viel zu überlaufen. Frühstück und Abendessen sehr lecker. Getränkepreise etwas zu teuer. Zimmerausstattung gut, man hat viel Ablagefläche. Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Keine Handtücher für den nicht vorhandenen Strand. Zu wenige Liegen, auch da alles sehr überlaufen. Anreise mit Auto schwierig, viel Verkehr und wenige Parkplätze. Kleine Meile mit einigen Shops und Minimarkt vor der Tür.

Bra bemötta vid incheckning. Väldigt bra läge och parkering fanns precis utanför med möjlighet för skugga. Mycket nära stenstranden, vilket var toppen med hotellets egna solstolar. Hotellrummen är lite äldre. Det enda negativa var middagsbufféen som var fullständig mayhem med mycket folk och hög ljudvolym. Maten kan vara bättre för ett fyrstjärnigt hotell.

Amazing experience, we will be back again!
