Quirky old accommodation lovely staff fab evening food, ok continental breakfast...great vibe in the pub lovely and friendly people. Room was comfy, did need some attention to cleanliness, but saying that the bed was spotless and very comfy...bathroom small but well equipped.

Refurbished in the sixties to include ensuite baths, this stately home is a salute to the past with spacious rooms, fireplaces, high ceilings and magnificent stained gass windows. Full breakfast and parking. Very welcoming. We'll be back!

Stayed on a Saturday night, owner welcomed us as soon as we parked up. Showed us the room (3) and all the amenities. Room was excellent, photos don't do it justice. Comfy bed and well decorated and maintained. We were going to a party in a neighbouring village and the owner even offered to drop us off to save getting a taxi. Nothing was too much trouble, brought our lunch up to our room and breakfast the next day was really nice too. Would definitely stay here again, an enjoyable experience. Thanks Chippy and staff.

Very warm welcome, had a superb evening - dinner in the garden was delicious. Bedroom was lovely too.

The room was well fitted out, clean, and lots of nice finishing touches. The manager greeted me and was very friendly and helpful.

Really enjoyed staying at The George & Dragon, Rowde, Devizes. They were very friendly, couldn't do enough for me. My room was lovely,spacious,clean, well decorated & warm. Very comfy bed too. The food was really good & the owner was very helpful & friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here this time last year and had the same room. Took a nice deep soak bath although it is a little short. Dining options are quite numerous within a decent distant distance. The host was really welcoming and made me feel at home. I was treated to a really nice continental breakfast after a great night's sleep.

We were looking for somewhere to stay whilst attending a family function and by chance cane across The George and Dragon. We are so glad we did! What a beautiful pub with bundles of character. Our room was gorgeous; modern yet rustic and equipped with everything to make our stay spot on! Staff were lovely and attentive, and breakfast was amazing. We were greeted by a spread of freshly baked croissants, jams, cereal and orange juice. We opted for a cooked breakfast which was again spot on. We would most definitely return and will recommend to any friends and family! Thank you to the tram for making our stay fabulous:)

Quirky pub but a hidden gem,owner(chippy) outstanding,foods glorious,will definitely stay there again.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt bei Chippy und seinem wunderbaren Team! Leider mussten wir nach einer Nacht schon weiterfahren, aber das gemütliche und stilvoll eingerichtete Zimmer werden wir vermissen. Das Essen (abends und Frühstück) war herausragend, 12/10! Die Gegend ist zauberhaft und ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge! Danke für die Gastfreundschaft!
