Spotlessly clean room, funky decoration, lovely extras like shortbread and bottled water in the room, great staff - very helpfully helped us with our luggage. Very pleased with our stay.

Hotel is located close to the centre. Team are really nice and friendly. Breakfast very good. There is no lift but the stairs will give you a good workout.

We love coming here to Drakes Hotel. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, the rooms are lovely (some even with spacious bathtubs too) and the breakfasts are always delicious (and can be served in room which is always a bonus for us since we’re not morning people haha) Great amenities nearby and easy to get a bus (the stops are right outside) or an uber etc. It’s a must for us whenever we’re in Brighton.

Great hotel, clean, friendly staff, overlooking the sea, short walk to west pier and town. Overall we had a lovely stay.

Back room. Spacious city view was the back of the terraced houses, big contrast to the front of the hotel. Friendly staff, nice food. Arrange your front parking brfore u arrive as it first come first serve.

This hotel promised much but fell short in a number of different areas, namely around the room and en-suite. For a 4 star hotel the room was worn around the edges for example the plug socket for the kettle didn't work and the strings for the blinds were broken and then knotted. In addition, the main blind in the bedroom had masking tape on it. A 4 star hotel should have better quality fittings. However on the positive side, the bed was big and comfortable, and the staff were pleasant. Although you could argue they could have been more attentive and friendly. I hope Drakes Hotel see this too and use these comments to improve.

This was my second time staying at Drakes for my partners birthday. The staff were welcoming, the bed was cosy and we had a wonderful view of the sea. The bathtub in the window is such a lovely feature! The noise from the traffic woke us up in the morning as it's a busy seafront road outside, but the rest of the experience outweighed that.

Absolutely stunning room! Had the most amazing view of both sunrise and sunset.

Such a lovely hotel! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Room was spotless and very cute! It had everything you needed and was just genuinely lovely.

Room was quirky but great view and very comfortable. Do not bother getting breakfast. It took 50 mts for toast and one hour for bacon & eggs. Not busy enough to warrant this. Other people were waiting over an hour. When this was mentioned at reception. Their response was it’s not our company!
