Great resort!

We stayed in ocean view one bedroom. Very well appointed. Balcony was so enjoyable. Peaceful and quiet with the exception of one night the guests below us had a loud party with hired DJ with PA system. It was so loud we left for the evening. The staff/security did shut them down by 9 pm which was very appreciated. We enjoyed the onsite restaurant, Rain, twice during our stay as well as the onsite grocery mart The grounds appeared meticulously maintained with beautiful tropical landscaping to stroll through. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Grand Caribe Belize:A Solid Stay That Shows Its Age. Our stay at the Grand Caribe was overall just okay;kind of like an NBA veteran who’s clearly past his prime. There’s still experience and reliability there, but you can’t help noticing the wear and tear. The décor felt dated throughout the property, and there were visible signs of aging that made the resort feel a bit tired. The hot tub was also out of service during our stay, which was a disappointment.That said, being able to use the Sunset Caribe property across the street was a big plus. Sunset Caribe is far more modern, livelier, and honestly where we found ourselves spending much of our time. It highlighted what Grand Caribe is currently missing. The standout feature at Grand Caribe was easily the three-bedroom unit. It was spacious, well laid out, and fully stocked, making it ideal for our family. Having that much room to spread out added real value to our trip and was arguably the best part of staying here. Onsite restaurants were overpriced for the quality—food was just okay and not particularly memorable. The pool bar had good drinks, though they were expensive, and the food there was pretty meh. We did enjoy the one day of live entertainment at the pool, but outside of that, the pool area felt pretty quiet and lacking energy. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. However, there didn’t seem to be any real security controlling access to the property, and there was no beach service at all

The property itself is beautiful, but the experience was overshadowed by extremely poor communication from the staff. I paid them to arrange local flights, yet they failed to provide any information afterward. After I arrived in Belize, I tried calling again with no response. I ended up messaging them on WhatsApp from the airport, unsure whether I needed to purchase a new plane ticket or not. Despite multiple attempts to reach out through calls, emails, and texts, I received no response for a long time. Eventually, my calls were ignored or possibly blocked. Fortunately, someone finally responded on WhatsApp and provided the information I needed, but by that point, the uncertainty had already caused significant stress. What should have been an enjoyable trip turned into one of the most stressful travel experiences I’ve had.

very clean resort. Beautiful view of the ocean.to bad there are so many weeds that you cant swim in it.one big thing is i was told by the staff to not drink the water so you have to buy your own and carry it to your room.

This particular location was great. However, the entire Western side of San Pedro seemed to be a bit of a joke to me. There is really no access to the beach nor is there great swimming from the beach from any place on that local. We went to secret beach one day and saw that yes, there is good swimming from the beach on that side of the island but the east side should also have the access in order to enjoy that much tourism. Why do people come here without having great ocean access from the beach? For me, Costa Rica, and many of the other locals in Central America, are the right places to go if you just want to hang out and sit on the beach and go into the ocean from your location. I do have to say that the people in Belize are awesome and it’s so nice to be able to speak English in a country where there are multiple languages that people understand. I would also note that the scuba diving and snorkeling in Belize is awesome!

I’m so great. I’m always kept clean. Concierge service is excellent. Front desk is excellent. Everybody’s friendly.

We had a great ocean view, the balconies are very large so we spent a lot of time there. The rooms are very spacious the the resort has some good restaurants as well. It is within walking distance of several other restaurants as well. The staff was wonderful.

Great location, friendly staff, great pool bar bartenders, especially Phil, Gael and Angelina. We felt very safe at the resort. The resort was pretty quiet which we liked. It was a close golf cart ride to a lot of bars and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

room was stocked with all the things you would need to cook your own meals. housekeeping did an excellent job. spa was top notch. all staff were friendly and very helpful. food at the Rain was delicious. great location on the island.

Beautiful resort with very good staff. It the resort fault, but a little slow for our tastes. Not many people. My wife likes to people watch and mingle. Had to leave the resort for that.

The 3 bedroom villa was amazing! Super modern, well furnished, super clean, amazing layout and views.

I read some reviews on this resort & decided to book. I am sure glad we did! We stayed in a 1 bedroom King ocean view room on the 3rd floor. It overlooked the pools, and the Caribbean Sea was just beyond a short walking path. I spent ALOT of time relaxing and sun bathing on our balcony which was spacious. The full kitchen was stocked with dishes, glassware, cookware, and appliances. It had everything one would need to make a meal for a family; however we preferred to try the many restaurants nearby. We were grateful for the coffee grounds provided to us, and we used the full sized refrigerator to keep our beverages and leftovers cold. The bed was very comfortable, and there were ample pillows of various firmness for all types of sleepers. The bathroom was extremely spacious and we were provided with travel-sized toiletries which were amazing on the hair and skin! The two restaurants onsite were amazing and very quiet which meant that we had excellent service- Jose waited on us a few times and we enjoyed his company. All staff were kind, professional, and very willing to help. The resort conveniently rents out golf carts to get around San Pedro- it is a must!! We appreciated being able to sight see on our own schedule! Our stay was from Dec13-20th. Upon arrival we were surprised at how quiet the resort was! It was the perfect place to unwind before the Christmas rush. We would definitely return to this resort!!
