I chose this hotel because it suited our situation, but unfortunately the same problem occurred during every stay. Every time we checked into our room, the first thing we had to do was inspect the bed sheets because they always had yellow stains or what appeared to be old blood stains that remained even after washing. We had to ask for the sheets to be replaced every single time, and this was usually done reluctantly.
The most disappointing part happened during check-out on June 30, when the receptionist told me that the manager had said, “If you are not satisfied, why do you keep booking our hotel?” Instead of addressing a repeated housekeeping issue, this was the response we received.
Another thing worth mentioning is that the manager regularly walks around the breakfast room asking guests to leave Google reviews while they are eating. In some cases, he even takes guests’ phones and helps them submit the reviews. This makes the large number of consecutive five-star Google reviews difficult to interpret as completely spontaneous.
The hotel building itself is attractive and has great potential, but housekeeping standards need significant improvement. I also hope the owner considers hiring a more professional manager who focuses on resolving guest concerns rather than dismissing them.
