Despite the 1 km location from Hakata station and the friendly staff, the room smells horrible and mouldy. There 's a dirty old wet blue sock on the bed. The bed and duvet smells awful like it 's never been washed for ages. Unclean. Smell like homeless. Dirty. Dusty. Not recommended and doesn't worth the money. Unhygienic. Not recommend even for those on a budget. Doesn't worth it.

Nice location in Kawabata shopping street, close to many food stalls. 15 min walk from JR station. Downside is very small space in en-suite bathroom and toilet. Friendly staff, kitchen for use and laundry plus dryer on roof top, very convenient. 5 min bus ride to JR station.
