We had a great experience here on our 1 night stay. The staff was super helpful and the room was clean and the facility was well maintained and had a nice pool/yard with fruit trees and places to relax. We wished the room had air conditioning and was a bit bigger but otherwise everything was great. The breakfast delivered to our room was a nice touch and the location to Sintra was a quick (but uphill) walk 😁. Would recommend to others. Thanks for a great stay!

Clean Room, Access a little tricky, room small but good, bath smaller but good. Staff helpful. Breakfast - one can choose from items, but some of them in combination don't make too much sense. Coffee is drip, not a "Bica" or "Cimbalino". The Musli is cornflakes, not a mix of nuts, seeds, oats, etc. Noise. The room walls and ceiling are old and one can hear everything from the other guests next door.. being aware and extra lowering your noise levels is recommended. Parking onsite is 15Euro for the night, extra 10 (?-memory.. might be 5) for the next day and to vacate by 2 pm. IT might be worth it to park for 1.50 a day in downtown Sintra, take a day-pack and amble up to the hotel and then do the same the next day.. but that needs advanced planning. however, since Sintra is a walking place already, might as well add that little bit.

Excellent unique place with amazing location and views. Parking is extra but available and worth it.

The owner and workers were very kind and helpful going out of there way to answer our questions and help us have the best vacation possible. The hotel is very quaint with awesome views!

A beautiful and bucolic setting. Just be aware it is sort of resort/ retreat like vibe. There are a lot of steps to navigate so better for light travel (not too much luggage) and outdoors people vs. standard hotel/ inn stay. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Sintra in this area requires a good amount of walking (including uphill). Uber and cars can be called as needed. Breakfast is delivered to your room which is nice (and a good selection and generous).

Breakfast was very good. Lovely having it delivered to the room. Walk to city center uphills was about 25 minutes. I suggest people with mobility problems to avoid this hotel. Lots of stairs, few railings and can be quite dangerous.

Beautiful location for relaxing after site seeing. Loved having breakfast served to the room. Very picturesque location and cozy setting.

The view from the balcony is stunning. Service is extremely helpful. We were upgraded to a suite, which was a nice surprise. The walk to Sintra old town is about 15 minutes up hill. Not for the faint of heart, but well worth the walk.

Its a multi level room layout, Okay if you are young. The superior rooms that we booked was way down and we had to haul our luggage in a very difficult manner. Car parking is a nightmare , as anywhere in Sintra.

Loved the property, had a pool, view of Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle and valley, short walk to restaurants and shops. Staff helped us with tickets, information and booked taxi for us up to Pena Palace. Lovely breakfast brought to our room. Would highly recommend!

C’était un endroit tranquille et propre. Pas d’épicerie ou restaurant proche. Pas de trottoir pour aller en ville plutôt dangereux avec les voitures qui passent proche

This hotel is a little oasis from the hustle of town. We had a beautiful view of the mountain and the three main palaces. Breakfast was plentiful and delivered by basket to our room at our chosen time. Parking was included which was a selling point as parking in Sintra is very limited. Town is only a 5-10 minute walk away, but it is up an extremely steep hill. Not easy for anyone out of shape or with mobility issues. Walls between rooms are a little thin, but a fairly quiet stay! We would definitely stay here again.
