Cute small hotel in the middle of the amazing Husafell area

Starfsfólk var indælt og maturinn í lagi. Það var mjög hreint. En það hefði þurft að vera vifta eða loftræsting á herberginu. Því ekki var hægt að opna glugga vegna lúsmý. Þetta olli því að kæfandi hiti og þungt loft var. - skemmir svo mikið en svo auðvelt að laga, hvet eigendur til að setja litlar viftur á herbergin. Rúm og koddi þægileg.

We got a room with no view and non working shower. Got moved to a room with viwe, why we didi not get that room in the beginning was odd. But could do with a refurb. Tiles on the hallway ao there is a lot of noice when people pass the room.

The stay did not match the expectations for the price level. While the location is interesting, the overall experience felt quite basic compared to other hotels in a similar price range in Iceland. The room quality and breakfast were average and did not reflect what one would expect from a hotel at this rate. The pool is presented as part of the hotel experience, but in practice it is a separate nearby facility with limited opening hours (closing at 20:00 and reopening at 11:00, which coincides with checkout time). This makes it effectively inaccessible for guests staying only one night. There was also a hygiene concern with the bed sheets, which further impacted the stay. Overall, the experience felt more like a functional lodge rather than a design-oriented or high-quality hotel, and did not offer good value for the price.

We just stayed for a night but I wish we could have stayed longer to really enjoy the place. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. They also have a restaurant within the hotel and we really appreciate Boda (staff in the restaurant) who really took care of our breakfast. He entertained us very well.too bad never got the chance to enjoy their pool. Not enough time for us.

Wonderful staff and beautiful property. The spa and pools are clean and warm, and the restaurant has amazing cuisine. Don’t skip the desserts! Best part was signing up for the northern lights wake-up call, which we finally saw on our last night.

A gem in the middle of Husafell. Thanks to the staff thoughtful tracking of the Noethen Lights, we were able to see them in mid April. The restaurant is top notch and the heated pools are a bonus!

Very good customer service and rooms looked good BUT despite bathroom looking great, poor shower pressure and took forever for the water to warm up.
