Good value for money

The bar fridge was on the floor with broken or absence of door restraints. Every time you open the fridge, your milk and or juice will end up on the floor. The doona desperately need replacing. We had baaaad stains on the doona. The microfibre doona cover sticks to you like an octopus...

The room was large, and very clean.. one of the best motels I've stayed at for that price.

Great location, friendly staff

Not a bad hotel just up the road from the main town centre of Lilydale. Only a five minute walk to the Lilydale International Hotel (great meals). On arrival I found the room to be clean and in very good order. The staff in the office were very helpful and guided me to various places around town. I had found out later that this hotel is part 'social housing' / 'halfway house'. When I woke Sunday morning, the police were present and I assume someone had O-D'd in a room up from me, as an ambulance arrived shortly after. This was not a problem and did not hinder my stay at the Econolodge. Would I stay again, absolutely !

Surprised for the price we paid how clean & in such good shape it was in - perfect for our weekend away with easy access, parking & close to where we needed to be.

Great for a one night stay. No lifts, stairs conveniently located. Great located being 8 mins away from most of the Coldstream wineries. Room 27 had an updated bathroom. Clean and comfortable. Reception staff friendly and informative.

Good place

Clean room, bed comfortable , nice bathroom with lovely hot shower. Basic tea/coffee making facilities. Only small plates and tea spoon supplied, could have done with more plates, bowls and knives and forks, otherwise comfortable stay.

All good. But the sound of bathroom exhauster fan was terrible

I love that it’s dog friendly. The grounds of the property could use some work. But the room was clean and comfortable. My friend who shared the room with me commented that the pillows were too thin for him, but I didn’t have an issue; I guess it depends on personal preference.

we didn't need the AC, so no comment. Parking was good, no problem.
