Situated in a tranquil area, cozy room, got most amenities one need, helpful staff, lovely breakfast. But if you are noise sensitive, you should seek other options. My room situated on the ground floor next to the wooden stairs. You can always hear people stepping up floor/ talking outside your room. The aircon is quite noisy too.

Very nice hotel, close to everything

Neat historic building, great breakfast. Make sure you learn how to turn down the radiator, our room got very warm at night, and we couldn’t figure it out.

Beautiful property, very clean, comfortable bed. Our only issue was we found the morning front desk agent to be unhelpful and abrasive, perhaps she isnt a morning person. (?) The evening agent (checkin) was not knowledgeable of the history of the inn, (crucial in a 200 year old home) when asked he just shrugged and pointed to a poster on the wall and left the room. He also knew nothing of our Expedia VIP booking, and again shrugged so any VIP perks were nil. Other than the staff - the property was wonderful. Likely would not stay again.

Love the area and shirt walking distance to everything like the theatre, parks and restaurants. The best continental breakfast anywhere. I would say it is more of a European breakfast as there is a lot more than a normal continental available.

Wonderful place! The staff are friendly, the rooms are spotless, and the hotel is beautifully decorated, making it feel more like you are staying in someone's home rather than a hotel.

Hochelaga is so cute and put together in a smallish Canadian town. It was totally my home away from home in Kingston. It feels very personal while simultaneously providing a room that feels like a reliable chain hotel. Thank you!

We had a very cozy stay. Pay the $8 extra for the warm breakfast! It was delicious and got us off to a great start.

Excellent stay

There was no boot tray in the room, and so the sand and snow inevitably got tracked throughout the room. No staff came to check/clean. The hallways were also gross bc of this. They should consider communal boot trays at the entrances, or shoe covers. The staff were friendly and provided me with a space heater after i let them know the room was cold. The yogurt was also nice in the morning.

The location was perfect for what I needed, my room was lovely, and the continential breakfast was really enjoyable.
