Situated in a tranquil area, cozy room, got most amenities one need, helpful staff, lovely breakfast. But if you are noise sensitive, you should seek other options. My room situated on the ground floor next to the wooden stairs. You can always hear people stepping up floor/ talking outside your room. The aircon is quite noisy too.

This is a very unique restored mansion within a fairly easy walk to downtown Kingston. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. Our room had been advertised through Expedia as having a bay view, and it didn’t, but that was no big deal. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. All in all, a great experience.

Parking is limited. We had to get up early to pay for parking after 8 am in the lot close by.

Le fait d'avoir un système de climatisation portable n'est pas pratique: il prend beaucoup de place et il fait beaucoup de bruit. Les chambres ont certainement besoin d'un petit investissement pour installer des systèmes moderne et mureaux. En général, c'était bien.

Beautiful unique property with excellent breakfast included.

Joli hôtel mais la chambre familiale était trop petite pour une famille avec deux adolescents car presque rien pour poser les valises. J’ai trouvé l’hôtel charmant et bien situé mais il n’y a pas d’ascenseur et les chambres du haut sont vétustes en revanche le personnel est vraiment très serviable et arrangeant nous avons apprécié et le petit déjeuner est très bien.

Great place. Charming.

We stayed in the cottage in a small room. The bed was lovely, nice linens and duvet, but the mattress could have used a soft topper. The furniture, one chair, a desk and night table, was very old and scuffed up. Everything was very clean though, and it was pretty good value. Breakfast was an interesting mix of pastries, breads, yoghurt, granola, cheese and cold cuts. Good coffee.

Beautiful unique place to stay with a wonderful generous continental breakfast and free parking (if you can get a coveted spot). In a city filled with expensive generic hotels this choice was perfect for us.

Nice old mansion. Needs a bit of attention

The best parts of this hotel were the excellent location and the nice staff. Unfortunately, the room itself was not clean enough and not up to standard. Cleanliness is a priority for me, so I cannot give a higher rating.

Lovely Inn Very noisy AC unit!

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly, which I appreciated. However, the building is quite old. We stayed on the lower floor, and whenever guests walked around upstairs, the floor would noticeably shake, which was sometimes disruptive. Another issue was the toaster in the breakfast area. It was very slow and appeared to be malfunctioning, so guests had to wait a long time just to toast their bread. I would recommend replacing it with one or two newer toasters. This would be a small investment for the hotel but would greatly improve the breakfast experience for guests. Overall, the hotel was clean and comfortable, but a few updates would make a big difference.

The Inn is beautiful! It’s very clean. It’s the first bed and breakfast I have stayed in where a hot breakfast is not included. They offered muffins for free. As well our room was virtually in the lobby. It was very loud starting at 6:00am. Do not reserve the classic king. When I said something they said I shouldn’t have booked online. They were quite rude!

Excellent location: close to restaurants in a beautiful historical setting

We had the best experience here! Location was perfect, such a charming but up to date hotel with a delicious breakfast. Would definitely come back again. 10 out of 10! Thank you!
