Dar Ya is in the middle of the medina. I do advise getting there in the daylight hours as it’s hard to find otherwise and a bit creepy. Staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. All of Tunisia really. Place was clean and bathrooms were accessible etc. Breakfast was good as well-basic Tunisia fare and adequate.

Interesting location in the Medina. There are a couple of good local restaurants within 5 mins of walking. Breakfast was good. We were there for 3 nights and breakfast was the same but sufficient. Shared washrooms/showers were ok. They kept the washrooms clean. The only issue is the bedrooms all open up to the centre breakfast area which can be noisy in the morning. And minimal privacy.

Plus qu'un hôtel c'est une auberge de jeunesse. Le personnel est adorable, ils font ce qu'ils peuvent . Le petit déjeuner très bien. Le décors très beau. Mais: en gros travaux, donc bruyant et poussièreux, les sanitaires sont peu nombreux et pas super engageants, aucune isolation phonique et autre. .. Après les travaux et en refaisant les toilettes du haut, et en en rajoutant aussi, ça sera sûrement mieux.

Hostal muy bien ubicado para disfrutar de la ciudad, cerca de una parada importante de taxi (económicos para desplazarse) Pegado al Zoco pero en una calle poco transitada.

This is such a great find! Its in a perfect location and is so artistic and authentic. Its very comfy and clean and i had one of the best breakfast ever here. I only stayed one night but was treated so kindly by all the staff and i really had an amazing experience. I cannot recommend this place enough. It will add greatly to your time in Tunisia

Cet hostel est une véritable pépite ! Sa localisation est parfaite, à quelques pas des commodités comme les supermarchés, les restaurants et autres commerces, ce qui rend les déplacements très pratiques. Le personnel est extrêmement sympathique et toujours prêt à aider, créant une ambiance chaleureuse et conviviale. En plus, le rapport qualité-prix est exceptionnel : des chambres confortables et bien entretenues pour un tarif vraiment raisonnable. Je le recommande sans hésiter !

J’ai séjourné dans cet hostel récemment et j’ai été agréablement surpris par sa situation idéale. Il est vraiment bien placé, à proximité immédiate des commerces, restaurants et transports en commun, ce qui facilite énormément les déplacements. Le personnel est super accueillant, toujours disponible pour donner des bons conseils ou aider en cas de besoin. Quant au rapport qualité-prix, il est vraiment excellent : des chambres propres, des espaces communs agréables et tout cela à un tarif très abordable. Je recommande vivement !

Un très beau séjour, le staff Omar, Hala et Azzedine étaient très serviables et nous ont beaucoup aidé durant les 4 jours qu’on a passé à Dar Ya et nous ont fait des recommandations pour découvrir « the hidden gems of tunis » .. Grand merci et je recommande vivement.. ❤️
