Very short stay in a very sweet home, basic but beautiful. Spotless and peaceful. Highly recommend and will definitely book again. Great location and close to airport for affordable and quiet stay

Perfectly comfortable stay at the Kicking Dickey and suitable for a trip being taken from Stansted Airport.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There are a couple of hangers available for the clothes. The bedroom has a table with a TV. Coffee and tea were available with a kettle. There is a parking. Super convenient for early flights at Stansted airport.

I was able to check in online before I arrived at The Kicking Dickey. The staff were very helpful and friendly along with the pub which I thought was very welcoming. My room was at the rear of the property so away from any noise. The room itself was comfortable and well maintained, I think it might of been a converted stable. Nice functional bathroom with a shower and a very comfortable single bed. Lots of free parking outside the property. All in all well worth a stay.

Great community spirit, the locals were very welcoming, I look forward to visiting again.

Great pub.Good food, good range of beers. The landlady and staff were very friendly and helpful.

I have stayed here 3 times. Lovely well equipped rooms. Plenty of tea and coffee. Very near the rest of the village for last minute shopping. Very convenient for the airport. Free parking on site. Excellent price.

We had a very comfortable stay Beds comfortable , plenty of tea,coffee and milk + Ribenas. The food menu was excellent as was the food itself

Room basic but very clean. Extremely good value for money. Food was pub grub style but very tasty. Very close to Stansted which was why we chose it and would definitely stay here again

Nice staff who were quick to show us to our room was great. Room was clean, well equipped with drinks. The bedding & towels were fresh. Water was hot for a shower so well appreciated. Lots of toiletries included which was a nice touch. Downside was the shower cubicle which had seen better days with both black & rust on it. The TV didn't work - it switched on but it couldn't find a digital aeriel - no big problem for one night's stay.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. There are three rooms in an annex behind the pub so you dont really get noise from the pub itself. Slept really well. Room was quite cold when i arrived and no heating on in the evening, which was a shame. Could do with switching heating on at this time of year. Bathroom bit mouldy in places but minimal. For the price i would say really good value.
