Had a wonderful stay at Statham Lodge Hotel. The location is beautiful, quiet and very safe, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The lodge itself has lots of character and was warm, clean and tidy throughout. There are some walking tracks nearby, which made it easy to get outside and enjoy the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the reception process was fast and efficient. The room was spacious, very clean and tidy, with comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic and offered great value for money. Dinner was also excellent, with a good menu and meals that were very reasonably priced. Overall, a great stay , the place has character and is excellent value for money. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

Beautiful gardens, clean rooms, friendly staff

Staff were lovely, the operations manager was great making sure all guests had everything they needed. Very attentive. Spoke to the housekeeper checking our room, she was lovely too. Rpzt!

Stayed at various hotels in the area when visiting family but since discovering Statham Lodge we haven’t been anywhere else

Great friendly staff, beautiful hotel, and delicious food

Room was very tired and furniture looked like it had been collected from the roadside. Very poorly cleaned throughout the room. Carpet was stained and dirty. Having a shower proved challenging as the tub was high and no grab bars to help you get in or out. The tub Matt was very old, moldy

Nice clean room, friendly staff.

Room very clean, staff 👌, price 👌, food tasty and well priced. Only drawbacks was £9.60 for a pint of lager and loud music to midnight in room 13. There was a function of some sort so not a problem all the time.

Room and staff excellent, heating or lack of an issue and having booked a meal several days in advance they were not ready for us (another function being held had priority) Couldn't supply food order, poor planning! not ready for us,

Clean and presentable - picturesque surroundings

Hotel was ideally located just off M6 with a large, free carpark and was excellent value for money. Room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable with the best pillows ever. The bar and restaurant was full of character and Liz the restaurant manager was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated to making her guests stay special. The dinner menu was as good as any fine dining restaurant with game, fish and other options all cooked, seasoned and served to perfection. We were also delighted to receive a complimentary treat to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Breakfast was excellent too with freshly prepared fruit on the buffet table, ad-lib coffee & tea and the cooked menu was prepared beautifully. The general manager was also very helpful, friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. We will definitely be back again.

The hotel was really good - spotless, the food was delicious and staff were very friendly.

The breakfast was very good with different options and freshly made by the kitchen.

The room was clean. Breakfast choice was good. Excellent value.
