This place was in a great location, impeccably clean, and had very thoughtful amenities.
Location - it's about a 5 minute walk to the Riva and close to a public parking lot, ideal if you have a car but want to spend most of the time in the old city. It's on a quieter street but a short walk to restaurants, shops, and tourist spots.
Facilities - There is a quiet private courtyard with tables and chairs. The stairwells are clean and smell great. No elevators.
Check in/out - I used WhatsApp or phone to contact the owner. Because I booked via Hotels.com and Expedia's system was down, they weren't able to send me check in instructions ahead of time, but it all worked out fine. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. No check out instructions were provided, but I had bumped into the housekeeping lady and she took care of it.
Room - I had a room on the third floor looking out to another building and a sports field, plenty of windows but felt very private. The room was impeccably clean and spacious, and had an iron, ironing board, and clothes rack. Good access to electrical outlets. The kitchenette was thoughtfully stocked with one pot and one frying pan, plates, bowls, silverware, a dish rack, and kitchen towel. Appliances include a 2- burner induction stovetop, medium fridge, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, and dishwasher (with pods provided). The only thing I would have liked was a luggage rack.
