开房的时候前台就一个人，效率低到令人发指！我们全家精疲力尽就想尽快到房间休息一下，但是开房居然开了整整一个小时！一直让我稍等稍等！太垃圾了！

Property location is very good to access from expressway, takeout restaurant is located in the building and free parking

It gives major motel vibes. Stuffy smells, the vending machine didnt have water. Broken coffee machine. The checkin was smooth. The rest is meh. Not going back for sure

The rooms were cleaned, but the hotel itself was dirty, wasn’t clean n enjoyable experience.

The rooms have been renovated and I like that there are no carpets in the rooms. They should get rid of carpet in hallways. Rooms are basic. Rooms with kitchenettes do not have any dishes. We really like the location and most of the staff are very nice and accommodating.

Shower was barely working and didn’t provide enough supply for guests and I had to ask for it multiple times.

The receptionist forgot to activate my keys, then sent me to a "nonsmoking room" that reeked of cigarette smoke. Had to get a room change and as I was walking to the new room, saw a security guard with a can of Febreze enter my old room to spray it to cover the scent (?). Dubious cleaning protocols at this place

Our stay at the Hôtel Newstar was good. There were problems at check-in with a staff member who was not accommodating but senior staff stepped in and found a solution for the problems we encountered. The rooms are clean and have been renovated. There are a lot of friendly staff cleaning room, hallways and outdoor. We will come back.

The staff was very helpful, friendly and excellent. On our way to our room after checking in, we saw 3 instances of obvious prostitution on site, including across our room. The hotel was in ok condition but definitely not as pictured on Expedia in the sense that they advertise standard rooms that look much larger and nicer with a kitchenette but our room had no kitchen elements at all, we received a queen bed instead of the king that we booked, and the pictures on Expedia are from when it was recently remodeled but the hotel does not look like that anymore. Cleanliness was ok but room smelled like smoke even though it was non smoking, and we got extremely stuffy soon after getting into the room. Bathroom should've been cleaner. My wife felt very uncomfortable and we ultimately cancelled our stay to go somewhere where we felt safer and more confident in the cleanliness of the establishment.
