I stayed there one night for business - i was in room 5, on the first floor, by the access door. The rooms are very noisy: poor soundproofing meant that noise came from the pub downstairs, the rooms on both side (I could hear my neighbours cough as clearly as if they were in my room) and outside (one window was soundproofed but not the french door leading on to the balcony - what is the point?) The room cleaning was ok but the bathroom did smell of mould, and the shower is full of it - please clean it. The amenities are basic but fine. Coffee machine was a nice touch, as well as the jug of fresh milk in the fridge. The tables in the pub could have done with a clean. The staff was ok and so was the food. I won't stay again.

Really friendly staff who were more than happy to help me carry things upstairs with having injured wrist and as we were going to be away early also provided some breakfast bits for us. Very comfortable room, would stay again :)

Room was fantastic . Shower was amazing. Pub really friendly with free pool on a Tuesday night. Breakfast was continental which was disappointing

Room spotless, bottle of cold water and fresh milk in fridge a bonus. Staff all friendly and helpful even carried out bags up the steep stairs. Although over a pub no problem with noise. Able to park car in their car park and leave it for the whole of our stay. Did not have breakfast as visiting family very close by so went there each morning. Very convenient for bus into town
