When I made the reservation, I specifically selected “Pay at the property.” However, one day before my arrival, the hotel charged my card a $250 deposit and the first night separately.
This was completely unexpected. Had I known the hotel would charge my card in advance, I would not have made this booking. I chose this option because I intended to pay at check-in using my business card, not my personal card.
Please explain why the selected payment option was not respected.
