Nice place but they do warn you the hot water smells of sulfur and takes a while to come out. In our room the toilet paper holder didn’t hold the roll very well, and the view outside was not very interesting. The staff and the restaurant were great through - love the baby back ribs, pizza and nachos are too plain.

Pros: Breakfast was good. The staff were good. Cons : Room was very expensive. Our room had some flying insects and our daughter woke up with a rash/insect bite.

Very clean and comfy bed.

It would be helfull with a little guide about what to see in Egilsstadir. For instance: How do we walk ti the lake.

It was great!

Clean room, great staff, nice restaurants, very comfy bed. Perfect other than two minor things - hot water is from a source with sulfur so has a smell to it, and the curtains were not blackout. When visiting in summer and it's light all evening this does mean that the room is a bit light for sleeping. Bring a sleeping mask!

Muy contento con el trato del personal, ( nos atendió una hispanohablante y muy buena atención), las instalaciones y la ubicación, estuvimos en una habitación de tres, confortable y limpia. Tamaño justo pero suficiente. Aparcamiento disponible, Muy aconsejable, lo repitiría

Nettes Personal, gutes Restaurant und Frühstück dabei, Zimmer etwas klein und Basic aber sauber.

The hotel is clean but old and needs a renovation soon. OK breakfast and nice bar. Expensive compared to what you get even for being in Iceland.

Decent breakfast, check in gal was nice and helpful. Overall decent stay, nothing fancy. The restaurant attached is just ok IMO and the waitress was rude and trying to rush us along. The bartender was nice, hospitable, and helpful.
